Silvertop Retreat @ Apollo Bay

Located in the heart of Apollo Bay, Silvertop Retreat is a delightfully cosy 2-bedroom house perfect for individuals, couples or small families.

Located just 300m from the main street and the beach, Silvertop Retreat is the perfect location to take advantage of all Apollo Bay has to offer.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with full size fridge, oven, cooktop, microwave, cookware and utensils. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a separate laundry with washer/dryer combo and open plan living and dining area.

The main bedroom contains a queen size bed, and the second bedroom has a double bed with a loft king single, providing flexible sleeping options for a couple or two individuals.

Silvertop Retreat has a gorgeous north facing deck, capturing the sunshine all day and with beautiful views of Marriners Lookout. The serene front garden attracts local birds throughout every season. You can enjoy a cold drink while viewing the mountains and fire up the BBQ for a relaxing night in.

The house also has split system heating and cooling, off street parking, and limited wifi access (10GB per day).

Apollo Bay is a charming village located at the foothills of the Otways. As one of the Great Ocean Road's most popular tourist destinations, Apollo Bay has something to offer every type of traveller, including both swimming and surf beaches, a large boat harbour and marina, nearby walking tracks and waterfalls, and a variety of culinary options.

Host was extremely welcoming, this was our second time staying at silvertop retreat. We love the house and location it’s so easy to walk to all the local restaurants and shops and also the beach. The only thing to improve the experience would be to have a few more extra amenities, paper towels, cling wrap and olive oil spray for the BBQ.

Fantastic beach house with everything you could need. Excellent location, just a short walk to the main street and the beach. Beautiful garden and lovely front verandah to sit outside. The backyard was quite large too. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, kitchen was well-equipped, everything was in great condition and very clean. There was a bath too, which was great for our young daughter as she doesn’t like showers. The host was very helpful and easy to contact. We would love to stay here again.

Perfect family stay

Our second stay at this property and surely not the last. This house is not huge but is perfect for a family of 4 or 5. Perfect location, easy walk to shops and beach. Very clean, modern and well equipped. Room to park a boat. And great value

Chilled vibe and convenient to sights and services

Beautiful setting, short stroll to shops and beach and convenient to sights and services. Perfect for a few nights or longer. Plenty of fridge space and cooking tools. Host left information about things to do, places to shop and eat, etc. excellent communication and nearby caretaker for any issues.

Neat and modern house in great location

Enjoyed our stay and found the house very attractive, neat, well kept. The beautiful garden with native blooming wildflowers is a highlight. Enjoyable to sit on the porch! Pleasing to see solar panels. 300m walk to the beach is very convenient.

Great location, modern, clean and tidy

Great little spot for my wife and two kids, plenty of room. The location was amazing, we walked everywhere and to the beach each day. The food works is at the end of the road which was great.

Had a great stay over the Labour Day long weekend. House is clean, is fantastically situated and had everything our family of four needed to enjoy the long hot weekend. Host was very easy and pleasant to deal with. No hesitation in recommending.

Property is beautiful, house is clean and comfortable, landscaping is amazing and only a five minute walk to all the shops, restaurants and beach. If we ever make it back to Australia this is where we would stay while in the Apolo Bay area.

Beautifully presented holiday home

Great getaway

The photos weren’t lying. The house and garden were wonderful. Everything was clean. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very good size. We felt at home. Five minutes walk to shops, cafes, restaurants. Good heating system for winter. Has reversed cycling so summer should be cool. I would recommend this house. I would definitely go and stay again. Diana is a wonderful host.

Clean property close to town

Had a lovely stay here over the weekend of the Great Ocean Road Running Festival. The property is very close to the main strip of town and the beach making it very convenient and off street parking behind a closed gate allowed for car-free weekend. The garden is large and beautifully maintained. Really lovely to look out on to from the living room. The property itself is very clean and modern with brand new appliances. Would definitely recommend and will definitely try to stay here on any return trips to Apollo Bay.

Fantastic

We stayed at Diana's place with our family of four. The place is very new inside & out, very well furnished and decorated. Has a nice sized backyard, perfect for a hit of cricket, plenty of parking space. Great location, close to shops, pubs and beach. We would definitely stay here again.
