Very quite Relaxing Weekend away

Very clean and Rustic charm, if your quite weekend away then this is the spot. The hosts Diane and Kevin were extremely friendly and Welcoming.

A relaxing, welcoming place to stay

My friend and I had such a lovely time at our quirky, comfy, very private accommodation in Avenel. The setting is peaceful, the location is central (including for restaurants and wineries), and the owners are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place.

Great stay

We enjoyed the rustic nature and country remoteness that this property provided. It’s very unusual in its collection of historic items but the beds were very comfy and it was surprisingly well appointed. We enjoyed the remoteness and getting away from it all for a few days.

Quirky weekend stay

Kevin and Dianne were great. Their property at Rusty Springs provides a great place to stay close to the city there is a some good places to eat in Avenal. Plenty of space for the kids to run around and play in the pool and no WiFi was an added bonus.

Really nice place!

My kids and I loved the property. Spent hours exploring all the stuff on the wall, ceiling, everywhere! The area is beautiful too, the animals, trees and a perfect pool. Couldn't have asked for more for a long weekend.

Beautiful Barn

We had a wonderful stay at the Barn. It was beautifully decorated. We love it’s old school charm. Dianne was an amazing host and nothing was too much to ask. A beautiful tranquil setting to unwind. Only downside was that there is minimal 4g coverage there so bring some extra things activities to do.

Glad you enjoyed your stay and the quirky decorations. Sorry for Telstra's lack of 4G but hey a country retreat sometimes comes without the city infrastructure. We do have games for your enjoyment, a fire to sit by and birds to listen to.

Quirky barn, rural, walking distance to beautiful restaurants in Bank St. Hosts are lovely and very responsive. Loads of old memorabilia. Bedrooms are upstairs and bathroom downstairs. Great garden and surrounds.

Rusty Hills Barn

The barn was just so full of memorabilia. Australian history all around. Anyone looking for a quiet relaxed getaway THIS is definitely the place. 2 double bedrooms upstairs . Cosy lounge downstairs. Fridge tv bbq outside all you need was there. Was very clean and cosy. Big pool just a few steps away was such a bonus as it was a hot weekend. Our hosts Diane and Kevin such lovely people. They also have another building on the property with 16 rooms perfect for a family reunion or getaway. Wineries nearby. Will definitely return.
