Madelyn and Nathan met in the Philippines and were married in Los Angeles in 2013. They built Takbo Beach Resort in Siargao for guests to fully enjoy the natural wonders, beauty, and peace of Asia's #1 island vacation tourist destination.

Madelyn and Nathan believe the size and location of Takbo Beach Resort is ideal for guests to have the ultimate vacation experience. Providing holidaymakers a beautiful and peaceful environment free from stress is the goal. Conveniently located at the heart of Tourism Road permits easy access to many tourist attractions on the island including the world-famous Cloud 9 surfing area that is within walking distance. It is also next to the popular Mama's Grill restaurant known for it's outstanding Filipino BBQ cuisine. Whether relaxing and socializing in comfortable beachfront Bahay Kubo Huts or engaging in water sports on the beach -- the cares of daily life drift away with the incoming and outgoing sound of the ocean waves.

Madelyn is a native of Siargao Island and has an extended family and friends contact network here. This enables us to offer Takbo Beach Resort guests the best personal service in providing exclusive access to the many recreational activities available on the island. The resort is conveniently located on Tourism Road next to the popular Mama's Grill restaurant known for it's outstanding Filipino BBQ cuisine. Guests may order breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack and beverages for room service. It is also walking distance from the world-famous Cloud 9 surfing area.
