This place is so beautiful. I loved the view of the ocean and the gorgeous sunrise and sunset. The space was clean and well taken care of. I’m definitely rebooking this if I’m in the area again. Would highly recommend.

We had a great time staying here this spring. We were impressed with the extra amenities like the book on good places to go and the propane fire pit out back, which we enjoyed. The views from the front porch were spectacular and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We were in New Haven for our daughter’s wedding. This house was a wonderful home base only minutes away from the venue. So clean and comfortable with all of the thoughtful details that are so appreciated. Was able to exhale with water views. Oh and communication was super fast and easy. Thank you!

Exceptional Value, Unbeatable Location

Wonderful property including so many amenities it's just shy of an "all-inclusive". Conveniently located nearby shops, safe neighborhoods for walking and cycling, or just enjoying the sound view from the second floor vista. The stairs to the bedrooms are steep so this might be a consideration for small children or those with mobility challenges. Quaintly decorated, there are even cozy blankets for enjoying the back patio and fireplace... but this gem also includes a lot of modern conveniences like Bluetooth speakers and charging stations. Plenty of parking, and only 12 minutes from University of New Haven, we will definitely stay there again!

Seaside Retreat

Excellent. We had a fabulous time at this cozy cottage. The owners have provided every amenity! The cottage has been lovingly remodeled and cared for. Beautifully decorated and great location. We would love to come back. Only negative is that it took us 8 hours from Maryland but that’s not the owners fault it’s traffic!!! You will love this place !!

New Haven Getaway

This is a wonderful property in New Haven! The owners have completed an incredible renovation, and they have thought of everything for their guests. You can relax in the front room full of natural light with a view of Long Island Sound, in the comfortable living room, on the second-floor deck overlooking the water, or on the back patio that is complete with a grill and fire pit. If you cannot relax here, you can't relax anywhere! The house feels like home, and it's a perfect place to unwind and relax. I grew up in central Connecticut, and the charm and thoughtful layout of this home really reminded me of growing up in New England. When we return to the area, we will rent this property again; it is simply perfect.

Cozy house right across from the water

We had a nice time at the house. The hosts thought of everything to make guests feel comfortable, with plenty of dishes and supplies and nice touches like Nespresso pods, wireless chargers, and Roku TVs all over the house.We had a problem with the water when we arrived but the hosts and manager were very responsive and we got it figured out very quickly. Would definitely recommend this house.

Lovely home and location!

This home was so charming and in a beautiful and convenient location. The owner had compiled a very useful reference guide for local restaurants and things to do, and had provided some wonderful coffee to fuel our mornings.The whole experience was just perfect for our girls’ trip!

Great house

An esthetic mixture of new and old, this house was comfortable and clean with a spectacular view. I especially enjoyed sitting in the front sunroom looking out at the gorgeous sunsets. The owners leave nothing for want and you can tell they really care about their guests’ comfort.

Awesome location and home in New Haven!

Stayed at this home recently for a wedding we attended. The location is awesome! Across from the water offering beautiful sunrise and sunset pictures. It’s also only 3.5 miles or eight minutes away from Frank Pepe‘s pizza. If anyone knows good New Haven Pizza this is a significant positive to the location!! The Home was exceptionally appointed, very up-to-date, and inviting. We traveled with a 6 months old grandson and everything we needed was available, highchair, portable, crib, etc. The beds were really comfortable and the amenities in the kitchen and bar area were by far the best we’ve seen in any rental home recently. I would highly recommend this home for anyone needing to stay in the East Haven, New Haven, West Haven area.

It’s ok

I’ve stayed in much cheaper places that are nicer. They charge a premium for the ocean view. I asked if we could check in early and they said “One moment” and then never responded. Then when we did get there, they hadn’t changed the door code so initially we couldn’t get in. Every towel was in the dryer. There was no extra toilet paper anywhere. There was a basket on the island that said it was supposed to have tea and maybe other things in it that was empty. It just wasn’t put together the way you’d expect it to be for that price point. They did send toilet paper and a bottle of wine but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Cute stay by the water

Clean and stylish home by the water. Close to New Haven and the major highways for easy access. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the small details like coffee and shower toiletries! We will be back!

Beautiful home

We were in the area for a weekend getaway. This home is wonderful. It has all of its original charm while beautifully remodeled for today’s users creating a comfortable retreat. The speakers, games, coffee nook and outdoor area were all enjoyed. The views from the porch and front room were our so relaxing. The location was convenient to both New Haven for dinners and cute coastal towns we could explore. Thank you for sharing your home.

Beautiful Home

Spent the week with my parents. Home was immaculate and well appointed. The views from the 2nd floor deck and from the sun room were amazing. We wanted for nothing during our stay. The dog loved the backyard, and having the gate to close the driveway made it easy to let her out off leash. The cat loved the sun room window ledge. We were all very comfortable.

Connecticut Vacation

The property is clean and well maintained. The pictures are accurate as is the description. It was a self contained oasis for the family and enjoyed by all. We were able to check in early, which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a scenic and relaxing spot in New Haven.

We had the most amazing stay. The home was meticulously clean and exceeded our expectations!!! Lynda was a pleasure and there was a binder with every detail from restaurants, attractions, beaches, and many other things. The location was perfect for us. Perfect Weekend Getaway

This was a perfect house for our weekend getaway. The sunroom overlooking the water was by far our favorite room. Being able to disconnect while enjoying a beautiful view was exactly what we needed. Lynda is a great host and was gracious enough to allow us a slightly later check out to accommodate our travel plans home. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Waterfront Home

Super clean and charming 1920’s waterfront home. Had all the comforts and amenities of home. Convenient location to Tweed airport and downtown New Haven. Better than any hotel in New Haven that i have stayed at. Highly recommended and will stay here again for my next visit.

An amazing property at an amazing location

Everything about this home is wonderful! You can’t beat the setting, right across from the water and easy to access from major highways. The parking situation is ideal with plenty of room. The outside of the property itself is well kept, plenty of amenities with outdoor seating and fire pit. The home is SO well kept, clean, and every little detail is very well thought out. The rooms are spacious and conducive to visiting with whoever you are traveling with. The kitchen is beautiful, large, and well stocked. The owners of this property have thought about every detail from wireless phone chargers in each room, to having cooking spices available and nespresso pods, to providing a very useful booklet of information and brochures to local attractions. 100% would book here again. The hosts clearly care about their guests and take pride in their property.
