Best Christmas Ever

The house was amazing. Two large living areas were perfect for our large family. The weather was great so we were able to grill out and play in the yard. The house was well equipped. Our host was amazing, he was easy to talk to and very accommodating. We are looking forward to a possible summer family gathering and will definitely book the home again. This was one of our best Christmas gatherings in years because we were all able to all stay together. This place is one of a kind. We are thrilled that we found it and were able to book it.

Great Family gathering spot.

Gathered our family from around the country. Great facility for relaxing, snacking around the kitchen, or playing outside for the little munchkins with the toys on site. Swimming pool was a hit with the kids. Gave the adults a great place to congregate and watch the fun. Cooked hamburgers and hotdogs on the outside griddle. It was clean and an extra tank of propane was available. The home is spacious with three different areas for kids or adults to spend time. Two downstairs with televisions and one upstairs with a pool table. Bedrooms with nice, bathrooms were excellent. Ready to plan our return.

Spacious house. Many broken items, minor repairs needed such as only one faucet in double vanity master bathroom working; dirty carpet stairs; closet doors off in upstairs bedroom; multiple suff marks; holes in bathroom wall from missing towel hook; alcohol beverages in hall closet easily accessible to children; dirty laundry in closet; rifle found under bed; expired medications in kitchen open access to children; pool pump filtration not working; billard table nice but missing ball, cue sticks in disrepair. Broken furniture. Overall nice facility but shows neglect and not respected by other renters.

So much good, but ...

House is very large, lots of room for our group of 15. Kitchen area is laid out well and island is great for serving large meals. Pool was the centerpiece of our week and was in great shape. Good amount of grassy area for yard games (bring your own). Owner responsive when phoned.But ... the house, while surface clean, was not "company clean" or particularly well kept up. What you read about in the text or see in pictures may or may not be there and may or may not be in working condition. Our kids and grandkids gather to have a good time and we did but there was a level of disappointment when comparing this house to others we have rented.

May Family Stay

Just got back from a weekend at this house. The space is amazing for a large group. There are 7 bedrooms in the house itself, but the second kitchen/living space & bedroom with several beds is not in the house. I assume it’s in the nearby shed and should not be included in the advertisement. Plenty of refrigerator and freezer space with an extra fridge/freezer in the pantry right off the kitchen. The pool area was wonderful, fenced off for safety. The slide was a blast for everyone. It’s a play pool, so no deeper than 5ft and perfect for water volleyball.

Loved the space. Some pictures were not accurate. The extra room and beds were in another building and were not accessible. We reached out to the host many times with questions. He responded quickly at first. When we brought up issues, he stopped responding altogether.

Family vacation

We had a great time. Lots of room for 15 of us. The pool was great but the slide wasn’t really working. Also the trampoline was not in the best shape. The bath tubs did drain slow which was little hard when given baths to the little ones. But I think it was in a great location. I would stay there again

Wedding Party Fun

Stayed here with my wedding party, the house is enormous and quite beautiful. We really didn’t have any issues with the property and had a great time enjoying the pool and the many large living spaces this place had to offer.

AMAZING PROPERTY

If you love large open spaces and plenty of room to roam then this is the BEST place ever! The home was large and clean. The kitchen and home had everything you could possibly need. You felt like you were walking into a HOME! We immediately felt so comfortable. The property was beautiful and you could sit out on the front porch and see for miles. I would most definitely stay here again! Just what we needed for a long weekend! Thank you!

We fell in love Kansas and with this property.

Huge house. Everything you could want to keep kids entertained, a pool, video games, basketball area, trampoline, pool table, televisions everywhere, and for the adults, grills (multiple), a front porch swing, walk in showers, camp fires, and plenty of space. Awesome location and close to the city where we enjoyed great entertainment and amazing food (Bite Me BBQ & Doo-Dah Grill. We loved Kansas.

Peaceful country setting

The property setting is definitely rural country, remote and private. The interior of the house is quite large and can accommodate groups. The home was clean and well furnished. We enjoyed the outdoors grilling on the weber gas grill and our day visitors played basketball and used the trampoline. We brought our own lawn chairs which were more comfortable than their outdoor seating. Overall our group was very pleased with their stay.

We came up for a wrestling tournament with 8 families. House was big enough to accommodate our entire group with tons of common areas for kids and adults to have a great weekend. John the owner was very communicative and assisted us in our late checkout. We will definitely be back next year.

Big & Dirty

The shredded American flag hanging at the front door set the tone for the stay. This property has not been maintained. Muddy boots at the front door—muddy boots at the garage door. Greasy Sticky finger prints all over the walls and doors. Half of the garage filled with old furniture. Old water heater, rusted out root cellar, and metal debris made for a worry when young children outside. A great space for entertainment but not attention to detail. No firewood for the fireplace. Bedding smelled of body odor. We spent tge first 3 hours cleaning and doing laundry before our guest arrived after spending the better part of a day driving to get there. It was ironic that I was charged a cleaning fee. Too bad the owner does not take more pride in the property. Given the daily rates—I was very disappointed.

Thanksgiving reunion

We had the most wonderful time at this farm! It was an absolutely gorgeous property with lots to do and plenty of space. We had a very large group and never felt crowded. Property manager went above and beyond. We will be back!

Excellent country setting with luxurious accommodations

Our executive team had an excellent stay at this location. The house is massive and well equipped. Plenty of room to roam inside and outside. Excellent setting. Owner was great to work with.
