Pool in the suburbs

Finishing a long road trip, we were looking for a quieter, cheaper place away from downtown Toronto and this was perfect. My kids loved the pool, the house was clean and comfortable, and it was a reasonable train ride into downtown Toronto for sightseeing.

Nice but wish the pool was warmer

First off, the home was very clean and worked well for the four of us. However, the reason why we picked this house was the location to Toronto and the pool. While our host had nothing to do with this, we wished we picked something closer to Toronto because we didn’t realize how bad the traffic gets in this area. In terms of the pool, it was pretty cold and when I asked if there was a heater if it could be turned on, it was turned on but not until we got back to the house for the day. So it was still too cold until finally the last full day we were there could we enjoy the pool. This was a disappointment to say the least. The oven buttons were also very difficult to push (sounds weird but you’ll see what I’m saying if you stay here).

Good Location

The house was in a good location for us. It was halfway between our two daughters so we were able to see them both for Christmas. The host was nice. The oven was difficult to use. We didn’t find any instructions on how to use it so that made it very frustrating. We did find instructions on the washing machine, but even if you follow the instructions it would still not work sometimes. Overall we enjoyed our stay because of the location.
