The St-Louis Penthouse

A sumptuous penthouse, an extraordinary terrace with a breathtaking view, that's the St-Louis. Docked across the street, the Québec-Lévis ferry will offer you a spectacular 10-minute cruise on the St. Lawrence River and you will disembark in the heart of the old town. No need for a car!

THE SPACE
Comfortable, warm and beautifully decorated, this apartment will offer you all the magic of the St. Lawrence River. Nested in a 19th century building, you will find an happy alliance between the know-how of the carpenters of the St. Lawrence shipyards and the audacity of the architects and designers of our time.

The view of the Old Town of Quebec and its river is in the spotlight. The imposing windows of the main room will allow you to appreciate the colors of the landscape and the sunsets at any time and in any season. Go out now on our large terrace, with its garden of flowers and herbs. Take advantage of the comfort of the outdoor furniture to enjoy this incomparable view of the Château Frontenac and the procession of sailboats, cargo ships and steamers that parade lazily on the St. Lawrence.

All rooms are in a semi-open space. The master bedroom, with its King bed and its private bathroom, is located in the older part of the building, under the eaves. The second bedroom is on the mezzanine and also has a private bathroom.

GUEST ACCESS
The main access to the apartment is by the elevator, which lands directly in the living room! You will have a key that will allow you to control access from the elevator to your floor.

We live in the building and we are always on site to hand over the keys and welcome our guests.

The nicest VRBO we have ever visited. The floor plan and decor are marvelous and the view from the deck is amazing. Nicely appointed kitchen (if they don’t have it, you probably don’t need it), great artwork, private elevator. Great, great place. We will be coming back.

We were overwhelmed by this amazing place. Eric and Monique keep this property in tiptop shape and every detail is thought out. The design is absolutely spectacular. The views across the St. Lawrence river to Quebec city are breathtaking. We did not want to leave. They are amazing hosts and we hope to return.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Amazing views, terrific design elements and art. Eric was a joy to talk to and had great recommendations. If I was in the area again, I would want to stay here!

Perfect!

Eric and Monique were extremely welcoming, and very available, although we never had any questions or needs. The location was perfect, with the Ferry being a 1 minute walk, and a view of Old Quebec City that is unrivaled. The bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and enormous Terrace are in perfect shape and beautiful beyond description. Awesome place to stay!!

Great location and kind host

What a wonderful place to stay! Right across the river from old QC, just steps from the ferry. A unique rooftop apartment with beautiful views. Our host included many small kindnesses, like milk in the refrigerator and a few other nice touches. He even stayed up late to greet us at 1am (our flight was delayed). When we come back to QC, this is where we will stay.

Fantastic Stay

The apartment lives up to the “hype”. The photos do not do it justice. It’s a very eclectic, well appointed, unique space with a fantastic view. The owner, Eric, is on site for welcome, au revoir and anything needed in between. Very hospitable, thoughtful and accommodating. We loved our experience and if we ever revisit Quebec City, we will undoubtedly stay there again!

Superb!

Stayed at a lot of places on VRBO. For location right across the street to ferry! Perfect for visiting old Quebec 10 min ferry ride. Inside is immaculate. Perfect from deck to see fireworks on Tuesday and Thursday! Eric and Monique excellent hosts. Ps only took car on ferry 2 days for side trips. No reservation needed to go on ferry another plus.

Perfect Quebec experience

Staying at the penthouse was phenomenal. Eric and Monique have thought of every detail to make their property an outstanding vacation experience. Not only is the apartment gorgeous - it is the cleanest rental I have ever experienced! And all the thoughtful details for the guests were so appreciated. There is nothing they have not thought of and covered to make your stay easy and enjoyable. The location is also amazing. Having the ferry right outside your door is perfection! And the view is unparalleled. The park across the street with its winter ice skating and fire pits was a lovely treat! My family can not wait to go back!

Spectacular Stay! Excellent hosts and location!

This VRBO location is the absolute best when visiting Quebec City. The ability to keep your vehicle at the address and travel by ferry across the St. Lawrence River is so convenient and trouble free. The description of the location, photos, and amenities list are 100% accurate and we found our stay to be one of the most pleasant times we have had on a vacation. The hosts greeted us upon arrival and took us on a tour of the Penthouse. The lighting, kitchen, terrace view (that overlooks the river) all combined to make this a spectacular stay! Thank you Eric & Monique for the opportunity tp stay and for the "Bonjour" & "au revoir" conversations. You are both kind and gracious hosts.

Wonderful in Every Way

We were two couples who spent six days at Eric's and Monique's spacious penthouse in the town of Levis. As soon as we arrived we were so excited and pleased to see the beauty of the interior and the exceptional view from the expansive terrace. The building is on the St. Lawrence River and the stunning views are of Old Town Quebec. Our vacation was very relaxing due to the comfortable layout of the apartment including original artwork, gourmet kitchen, modern furnishings, numerous comfy seating areas and that terrace! We spent every morning having coffee and evenings having wine and just enjoyed the view. Eric and Monique were very welcoming and gracious and provided many restaurant recommendations both for Old Quebec and Levis. We took them up on several and they were great. It is an exceptional property. We all agreed it was the nicest VRBO we have found.
