Browne House - Meredith Lodging

This Oceanfront single level Bayshore home has wrap around window and offers private beach access right off the homes bright deck! A spacious living room with a flat screen TV and dvd player, two bedrooms, each with a queen, a full bathroom and washer/dryer in the hall makes this home perfect for your next family vacation our couples retreat! Please note- given the unique shape of the home the bedroom walls do not go all the way to the ceiling.

In the Bayshore neighborhood of Waldport. You’ll also enjoy access to the seasonal pool for a fee at the Bayshore Beach Club, plus the neighborhood playground and tennis courts. Miles of wide sandy beach stretch south to the mouth of the Alsea River, and crabbing and fishing are available in Alsea Bay. You’re minutes from Newport to the north, Waldport, Yachats and Florence to the south, and an incredibly beautiful stretch of shoreline in between. Come experience the Central Coast in this clean, open home designed for enjoyment!

Excellent location and spacious accommodations. We enjoyed our stay and loved being able to walk to the beach. The house had what we needed but could use a few updates. The beds and pillows are older, the living room rug could be swapped out, and some of the windows wouldn't stay open. But overall we had a good time here and particularly appreciated the large kitchen and dining area, laundry, and large primary bathroom suite with soaking tub.

This was my first time booking, the host was very communicative and the instructions provided for check in and check out were clear and sent timely. The only draw to not give 5 stars was due to outside space, the grass was significantly overgrown and the tree by the driveway impacts accessibility when you have more than one vehicle. Other than that, space was clean, all bare essentials were provided both for bathrooms and kitchen. Would recommend to others and book again.

Rooms were comfy, overall a good place for a little vacation. The kitchen was fairly well stocked with the basic necessities. Oversized tubs were great for relaxing after a day on the beach and there was plenty of hot water.

Great house however there was a lot of sugar ants in the kitchen and main bathroom. We had to keep all of our food in the fridge so the ants couldn't get to amy of it. Vrbo did refund us some money but they added it to the vrbo account and not back into my bank account.

Our team arranged for pest control to treat the kitchen and main bathroom and completed an extra clean; we’ll continue monitoring and will update the guest info to clarify food-storage recommendations. Be sure to tell Vrbo the refund was placed in the wrong account! I hope they'll be willing to adjust how the refund is sent over. Thank you again for the feedback.

Great house for three generations

This house worked well for two sets of grandparents, the parents, and one toddler. The house layout, nearby playground, and close proximity to the beach were great.

A nice place to relax

Overall, a very nice and well appointed house. Master bed was a bit saggy, and main shower had difficulties. Otherwise pretty nice. Pretty big kitchen to work with, Which was great!

Nice home, quiet neighborhood

The Bayshore house was really nice, clean and worked well for us (four adults and two kids). The open layout was great, the kitchen was really well stocked with all the plates/pans/utensils you could want. The back deck led out to the community park which was very convenient for the kids to play at. The neighborhood was very quiet. Overall, it was great place for our weekend getaway.

Lovely beach vacation

Wonderful stay! The house was lovely and clean. The walk to the beach from house was super easy, my five year old had no problem. The only complaint I have is for being pet friendly, there was no warning of the grass around the house being covered in goathead thorns. My puppys poor paws, and a good idea to take shoes off before going back into the house from the playground.

Well outfitted beach house

We had everything we needed for our beach weekend. Comfortable setting and well appointed kitchen with lots of bedding. Easy walk to the beach! We were disappointed to find the master bed was a queen and not a king and the playground equipment was in bad shape. The wifi information was different than advertised but a call to the office got us all set up. We would stay here again and had a good time - sure enjoyed the covered porch on the rainy weekend!

Birthday Weekend

Space was great, plenty of room for 7 of us and a dog. Nice to have a park out back for the kids to play when we weren't at the beach. Trouble with internet when we first arrived - 13 year old deciphered the writing on the fridge and we got it working but it isn't what is posted in the check-in information. We left a note with the correct info. Some maintenance issues could be dealt with but overall a fine stay.

Great place to stay! Merridith lodging was great except, i asked for a earlier check-in 30 minutes. Called and never got a return call! As i was told to wait there she would get back soon. Still waiting!! Not great customer service.
