Lovely get away

Lovely weekend away. Great hosts with plenty of commination, and was a perfect house for our family of 4 and extended family.Plenty of room, well stocked kitchen and plenty of ganes for the kids. Comfy surrounds, great showers and clean and tidy.

Beauty and comfort in Blackwood

An absolutely wonderful accommodation. Clean, modern, comfortable and cosy. Perfect location to explore, Blackwood, Trentham, the Lerderderg and the Wombat State forest. And the hosts are great to deal with. highly recommend.

Beautiful, well appointed property in a idyllic setting. Host was fantastic with communication and supplied everything for us to enjoy our stay for a week. Thankyou 😁

Lots to see

Blackwood is a beautiful place, easy 15 minutes drive to St Anne’s winery, Daylesford and Trentham falls. The newly renovated Blackwood hotel has excellent service and the Greendale hotel is the best kept secret, with a broad menu selection and an outdoor area that is massive. The Blackwood home we stayed at easily accommodated the 8 of us and the owners were quite generous with what they offer in the home.

Had a great stay. Nice neat, warm and clean house, had everything we needed. Owner was great to deal with and was very accommodating of our needs. Super quiet location. We had 3 abults and 5 teens. Would recommend.

Plenty of off street parking Lots of entertaining area BBQ and decking , Fire place provided lots of comfortable heat and good atmosphere . Good bathroom and toilet facilities ideal for a group or large family. situated right on the walking track which is fantastic with lots of history. a short 15 minute walk to the pub which serves a great meal with locals all with a yarn to tell , across the road to cafe and hat shop, Really enjoyable place to stay.

We love Blackwood and the house we have lovingly built.
The house has a great energy and is really comfortable in the cold and hot weather.
We both lead busy lives in Melbourne
and love driving off the freeway and into the country where we feel at peace away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Blackwood is a quaint town that is slowly being discovered. It has an excellent cafe with stunning views, is proud to host St Martins coffee roasters (wholesalers to Melbourne cafes) who also treat locals to good coffee and is about to open a newly renovated pub which is the talk of the town ( 26 Jan 25).
Everytime we leave Blackwood we can't wait to return.

It's fully stocked with everything you'll need for your stage and is a short walk to the main town. If you feel like hitting the shops, Trentham is only a short 10 minute drive and Daylesford is only a 20 minute drive away.
