I live in Toronto, Canada and am very lucky to have a family home which I can use for short-term rentals and to escape the winters.
My cosy home in Barbados is fully gated, private and is in the heart of Christ Church, 10 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from Oistins. It's a 15 minute walk to Miami Beach (a local and long-term visitor beach) which I rent out on a regular basis.
I know all the cool places to play, from the new uber hip craft brewery up the street to all the great music playing bars to the wonderful restaurants like Cafe Luna in and around the island. I have a YouTube channel that provides video support for the house along with local tips.
I am confident that when you stay in my home, you will enjoy the island as much as I do because I truly love Barbados! read less

This was our family home for years until my grandparents passed away. I did long-term rentals for islanders until I got to the point where I wanted to use the house too so I switched to short-term rentals. That worked out amazingly well during Covid too! I've been doing this for over 10+ years now and am rated quite highly by all my guests who say I am a "super-communicator"!

Everything you need is within a minutes drive yet, you are also not quite in the tourist zones so you can really and truly live like a local. This is how I live, and I love it.
