Family and friends trip

This was a group trip of 33 individuals. Some travelers were experienced, some were first time travelers but ALL of them loved the accommodations and staff. The staff is amazing, very accommodating and extremely hard working. If you are in Phuket this is the place to stay

We had a great time!

Staff were delightful & looked after our large group of 29 very well & we were very comfortable. The chef’s food was better than anything we had in any of the Kamala restaurants! It’s worth noting that access to the villa is very steep so for anyone with mobility issues should be warned!

Stunning villa perfect for a large family or group, huge outdoor terrace/games room & great service

Our group of friends and family spent ten glorious nights in the spacious villa, fantastic layout for a group (note very steep driveway/lots of steps which would be tricky for someone with mobility issues). We loved the two pools, rooftop terrace, large games room and lovely staff who served breakfast, cooked some special dinners and drove us in a minivan to Kamala Beach’s great restaurants and bars and further afield. Fabulous little coffee shop just a couple of doors up. Great location on a hill with mountain and local views, five mins drive or half hour walk to Kamala centre. So much nicer than staying in Patong (although it was fun to visit). The staff were fantastic, helping us with anything we needed, including booking a private catamaran day trip to Coral Island which was sensational. We would definitely return.

Amazing property - perfect for group holidays!

Baan Sung Thai Villa is an amazing property with all the facilities you could need. We travelled with a large (17) group and the layout of the villa and the room configurations allowed everyone their own space, while also having great, functional communal areas as well. Stefan and the house staff were absolutely lovely and very accommodating, and the in house food is delicious! We got a Thai meal cooked for our group for dinner one night and the daily breakfast is lovely (10/10 for the omelettes! We were all addicted by the end of the trip!). There was plenty for the kids (6-17 years) to keep occupied, and the pools were lovely! The only thing I could suggest for the listing is some more detail about the steps/steep block. One of our group has had bilateral hip & knee replacement and another recently had foot surgery. The stairs weren’t impossible for them to manage, but it was a bit of a shock at first. We didn’t mind them though, made us feel like we got a bit of exercise in an otherwise lazy, restful holiday. A wonderful spot that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone!

Absolutely Magnificent

We booked the villa for a group of 18 for my sons 21st and my 50th. It is perfect in every way for large groups. We all had our own space and privacy. Multiple areas to congregate. All the young ones had the apartments at the front with their own pool and balcony area. They could do their own thing, come and go without disturbing anyone else. Main floor where master was is perfect with access to the infinity pool on entertainment floor. Room 7 and 8 again another separate area for friends that had their own balcony and plunge pool, private again. The staff were brilliant. Anything needed was organised for us. Not only whilst there but leading up to our arrival everything was pre organised. I cannot express enough how grateful we all were. They made us all feel so special. And the food... omg.... im not a breakfast person but i made sure every day i was there for breakfast plus they organised 2 banquet dinners for us which was beautifully done. And i cant forget the drivers, 2 brilliant transport vans that can take 10 in each. Comfortable, aircon, leather seats. Thank you to all the team from the bottom of our hearts. We WILL be back.

Absolutely love this Villa and staff

We had 7 couples stay here at the main villa. Everything was absolutely amazing. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had the most incredible welcome meal set up upon our arrival. It was super nice to have the shuttle right there for our anytime use. We even rented motor bikes, which they arranged to have delivered right to us. My brother and sister in law got married while we were staying in Thailand. Maria and Alicia helped plan an absolute beautiful beach wedding. Then arranged for a wonderful dinner and entertainment back at the villa. I would definitely stay here at the villa again. It’s a great area not too far of a drive to the beach. I even found the cutest little coffee shop just 4 doors up. I was sad I didn’t see it until the very tail end of our trip. But happy I got to try their yummy iced coffee. I can’t say enough about how amazing this place and staff is. We will definitely be back!!!!

Most pleasant vacation

My family and I had a wonderful time at the villa. There are plenty of rooms and recreational spaces. We like how it was away from all the noise and traffic and set in a verdant and tranquil location. The transport provided by the villa was very reliable. From Baan Sung to Jungceylon Shopping Mall, it took an average of only about 30 minutes.

Amazing House

This property accommodated 18 of us 10 adults & 8 teenagers aged from 13-17yrs old for 8Nts, we were not disappointed in our choice at all, the house was amazing & big enough for all of us to not get in each others road. The staff, food & service was exceptional & we thoughrly enjoyed our stay. In a great location to Kamala Beach by either the house bus or by foot, which we enjoyed walking through the local area. Would highly recommend this property!

There was a group of 14 of us staying at the villa for a week, it was perfect for our big group and we had an amazing time at this very nice and spacious villa. The staff were also very nice too.

Excellent home for a family reunion

We were a party of 18 all from one extended family with 6 children. The property was perfect for our family reunion and there was plenty of space for all of us to roam and to hang out together. The food was lovely and we really loved being able to eat at ‘home’ . The driver Bao was fabulous and really helpful esp with us having such a large group. I highly recommend this property. We had a fabulous time!

Great spacious property with excellent staff. Khun sa the manager takes good care of you and we ended up eating most meals in the villa. Villa is big enough to get lost in!! The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are well maintained. Overall no complaints!

Wonderful Experience with Friendly Crew

Our group had a wonderful experience at the villa. The villa was fantastic and the sunset view at the pool was beautiful. Kamala beach and Big C was not that far off with car and right outside the villa was a stall serving really good Thai Ice Milk Tea! Pity our stay was too short!

Massive, beautiful, classy, 5 star service , proper villa, big clean rooms, excellent staff

Villa was massive with over 15 rooms which were beautifully furnished. Communication during the booking process with Stefan and Maria was smooth with quick replies.Villa manager SA was amazing and attended to all of our requests even very late in the evening. The multiple pools around the villa were big and clean. The transport arrangements from the villa to patong /airport were smooth and the driver Mao was very efficient and always avalaible even in early morning hours. Over all this is nothing less than a 5 star property and would highly recommended people to book this. would like to thank Stefan and Sa for making this trip an amazing experience for us. Finally all food and booze are readily avalaible at the villa that on many nights we didn't find the need to leave the villa .

Fantastic and unforgettable

This place is fantastic. We stayed there for 2 weeks for our wedding in August 2014 with friends and family. The house is gorgeous, so well furnished with taste and refinement. The staff and the owner were very helpful, very kind and cared for each of us. The food prepared by the Cook was delicious. In 14 days, we never ate the same thing except when we asked for it ! We could enjoy the place as well as the surroundings, Kamala is the perfect place to be in Phuket, not too noisy, not too calm, close to many sights. Kamala beach is beautiful, calm and not too packed. We miss the house and the staff a lot and often think of coming back. This experience was unforgettable. We highly recommend it. The best stay in Thailand - Kamala beach

Kamala beach is a really nice beach, and the villa ís like a paradise. There is nothing you will miss if you stay in this villa, We stayed here for Three weeks. The manager Stefan will help you organize almost everything if you want. This villa is perfect for groups, with it´s nine bedroom spred so you can have your privacy if you want, and if you like to be social there is plenty of spaces to be together in. The villa has three pools in different levels. And in the bottom there is apartments for 4 person/apartment to rent. The villa has it´s own driver that will take you to the beach (about 5 min) or somewhere else where you might want to go. I Think one trip at day is included to the beach the rest you pay for. The master bedroom is Amazing it has it´s own steamroom, a nursery for kids a Walking closet and a kitchen with bar. To stay in master bedroom is an experience hard to beat. The evenings at the upstair pool is so nice, you have space enough to be together, there is a nice bar right next to the pool. And sunbeds and a big sofa to relax in there´s also a big dinnertable if you want to order food for everyone in the villa. Thestuff cook really good food and the way they set the table is so nice. There is also a pooltable in the area next to the poolarea, in that area there´s also possible to watch TV. They are building another big sundeck, this was not ready when we where there but we could imagine how it will be when it´s ready. For breakfast there is coffe/tea, bacon, eggs, toast, fruit, juices and cereals and so on. We will definitely come back next year and we can also really recommending this villa! This is the most perfect stay you can have on your holiday.

Perfect Getaway

I stayed at the villa with my boyfriend and his whole family and all their partners. My boyfriend and I live in Thailand but his family came over from Australia as a surprise birthday present. The manager Stefan was so great in helping organise everything and gave us a great deal because we were a smaller group. In total there was only 12 of us so we didn't even need the bottom floor of the villa which has another 3 bedrooms. The villa was perfect for our group and had everything we needed. My boyfriend's parents got the master bedroom which was huge and even had its own steam room and walk in closet. Whenever we were at the villa and not out and about we spent most of our time on the pool terrace upstairs. The pool terrace is really spacious and has a large lounge area with flat screen TV as well as sunbeds, tables and chairs and it's own private bar (that we definitely took advantage of). One of the best things about this villa were the staff and the amazing food they prepared for us. Breakfast was great with a huge selection of bacon, eggs, pancakes, toast, fruit, cereal and juices. Dinner was even better with the authentic Thai buffet they did with the lovely table settings. If I was to list any negatives it would be that the driveway is extremely steep but once you're inside the villa you've already forgotten about that. I will definitely be recommending this to all of my friends and I hope to come back soon. Thanks to Stefan and all the staff at Baan Súng Thai Villa for making this an unforgettable holiday!
