It's ready and it's gorgeous!!

We can't wait for you to enjoy our newly remodeled 3 bedroom, 2 bath Bungalow in the heart of Columbia. As soon as you walk in, you’ll feel at home.

The spacious living area and dining room is great for families or a large group of friends traveling together. Everyone will love the open floor plan with fun artwork, stylish furnishings, new window treatments and hardwood floors.

The main floor consists of two bedrooms, (1 queen and a king) with high quality beds, high thread count cotton linens and ample closet space are on the main level. Full bathroom with a double vanity and plush towels and all your basic toiletries stocked for your stay.
A quiet room for reading or just relaxing with your favorite beverage.

The completely renovated kitchen has new cabinets, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances along with a breakfast nook that overlooks the large fenced backyard for your outdoor fun. The lower level has the 3rd bedroom (queen bed), a separate sitting area complete with a queen futon, and the second bathroom with shower and a washer and dryer. The house is equipped with high speed internet. There is off street parking and outdoor seating on both front and back porches.

We are literally right down the street from MU. The Old Southwest neighborhood is gorgeous with mature trees, beautiful historic homes, walking distance to the Downtown District, University of Missouri, and the Katy Trail. We walk to all the football games and downtown regularly for unique shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Or if you prefer, Uber is readily available.

Lastly, it’s a nice, quiet street. We want you to enjoy yourself and have a great time but please be respectful of our neighbors. We are honored to say that we have over 200 5 star reviews!!

BEST WEEKEND! Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival...AND a great house!

This delightful 4 bedroom bungalow slept the 8 of us comfortably and included a dishwasher, washer/dryer and wifi. It was a great location for traveling to/from the festival and is also very close to downtown COMO and the MU campus. The best part was the back patio where we enjoyed our coffee in the mornings and discussed the music festival in the evenings. The owner, Cindi, is the very definition of kindness. She left a few goodies to get us started on our weekend as well as offering to help transfer items to the festival. I highly recommend this property...if I could I would give it more stars!

Great Stay!

We had a family gathering in Columbia, with 7 adults staying at this house. Everyone enjoyed it. The house is lovely, very clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Cindi made sure that we had table space and seating for hosting dinner for the whole family of 13. She was available for providing any help, but we didn't need anything, because everything was already perfect. We enjoyed being able to walk to downtown and around the beautiful neighborhood. We are already thinking that it would be fun to meet up again in Columbia, and this house will be our choice.

Clean, Classy and Accommodating! Close and Cost efficient too!

This bungalow had plenty of room with four beds and a futon, and the location was ideal for any Columbia area events, as most occur downtown or near the university. While there was a boutique hotel feel to the decor, Cindi has left a few touches of whimsy to remind you of home. My only advice is concerning kitchen offerings, and this varies on rentals, so I don't consider it a strike. It was stocked with the items you'd find at a residence inn, but our food focused crew of Missouri Healthy Foods AmeriCorps Members pushed it to the limits. If you plan on making any meals, be sure to bring any oils or spices, and any specialty utensils (coffee grinder, etc), as this place is clean and uncluttered!

Great house, great owner, great location..

As homeaway owners ourselves we are very particular about the houses we rent. This owner was incredibly accommodating and responsive and the house met our needs perfectly. Would definitely stay here again.

Charming home in a leafy neighborhood was perfect for gathering family to celebrate graduation!

We loved our stay in this property that is a perfect blend of artful and homey. It was wonderful to be able to have family ranging from a 4 year old to eighty-somethings together to celebrate our son's graduation. The owner was very helpful and responsive, and we appreciated the small touches like snacks ready in the kitchen when we arrived! The beds were all comfortable and had quality linens. This home is in a great neighborhood that is perfect for walks. We used seating on the front porch and on the patio to enjoy the outdoors on our beautiful weekend.

Beautiful Bungalow indeed!

My daughter and I enjoyed staying here with 3 other mom/daughter "couples" for a sorority mom's weekend. The house is nicely decorated and very neat and clean.There were plenty of dishes, utensils, etc. in the kitchen for us to use while enjoying some meals at home. The beds were comfortable, the bedding was very nice and there were plenty of towels provided. The property is a cute corner lot with a nice backyard for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or an evening on the patio. We very much appreciated Cindi's hospitality - she checked in to make sure everything was fine upon our arrival and was kind enough to leave us some goodies in the refrigerator to enjoy as we kicked off our weekend! We were very impressed with our stay here and will definitely be booking again for future events! Thank you Cindi!

Splendid place to stay in Columbia MO

My family and I were in Columbia MO for an athletic competition; we'd come to Columbia several times before, and always stayed in hotels - small, dingy, and uncomfortable. We decided to rent a house for the weekend, and don't regret a moment. The house was clean and comfortable, on a quiet street yet near to both campus and local amenities. The simple act of being able to cook our own meals, relax in a comfortable place and simply watch TV while we waited between events was worth every penny. If you are sick of hotels when you visit Columbia, take a moment and review this listing – you won't be disappointed.

State Wrestling

Our High School wrestling team stayed here during State wrestling at Mizzou Arena. It was perfect for our group of seven individuals. I would highly recommend this house as it has plenty of space inside as well as a perfect back yard to sit and relax. Its located in a quiet residential area yet it only a few minutes away from the University of Missouri campus.

Comfortable and so charming

We spent a great weekend reunion in Colombia. The house was perfect for our group! The beds were like a 5 star hotel, so luxurious for sleep! We hope to come again while my daughter is a mizzou student! And great walking distance to Katy trail!

We love to travel and always go with a VRBO type property when available. The things important to us are.....a safe, clean home with comfortable beds, great linens, towels and close to the action with enough distance to relax when we return.
We decided to turn the house from a traditional rental into an awesome VRBO and share it with other like minded travelers.
