There are many adventures to be had, based from the Bosses Settlement. Gold prospecting, bush walking, local markets, picnics by the creek, swimming in Polly McQuinns. Immersing yourself in country charm!

My husband and I bought this cottage after long consideration, there is not many, if any, places for people to stay in Strathbogie that shows off our history. Our family has owned the property next door and numerous other places since 1878. In fact, my husband’s family was amongst the earliest selectors who came to Strathbogie. The properties have remained in his family since then. the Bosses Settlement, is a mix of antique vintage and modern furnishings, centered around our grandfather’s heritage and hard working lifestyle up here on the “Tableland.” The serenity, sense of community, history, and beauty of living on the land, is what the Bosses Settlement is about.
