Tucked away among the trees for privacy, Hideaway Hollow is a hidden gem in Concan, Texas. This 3-bedroom, 3-bath cottage with annex will comfortably sleep 12 in 3-queen, 2-double, and 2-twin sized beds.

Enjoy the spacious back and side patio and watch for native wildlife including varieties of deer and birds, or take a short drive to Garner State Park, Frio Valley Ranch, or House Pasture restaurant and live music venue. You're also just minutes away from Frio River access points.

BEDROOM DESCRIPTIONS (sleeps 12):
Bedroom 1 - sleeps 2 - 1 queen bed
Bedroom 2 - sleeps 4 - 2 double beds
Bedroom 3 with loft in annex - sleeps 6 - 2 queen, 1 set of twin bunks

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ:

LINENS: Bring sheets and pillowcases (basic bedding including mattress cover, pillows, and blanket are provided, sheets and pillowcases are not).

TOWELS: Bring bath towels, washcloths, kitchen towels, pool towels (no towels are provided).

PAPER GOODS: Bring paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, coffee filters. Your kitchen is equipped with dinnerware, silverware, drinking glasses, and basic cookware, but you may want to bring paper plates, plastic cups, and plastic ware.

We will provide a list of additional "what to bring" items after your booking payment is received

The place is wonderful and comfortable with a very good location. However, we found food in the oven, we had an issue with the shower (but was immediately resolved) and the DVD not working. We made great memories and we will keep this place in mind for future visits.

Great place to stay for families!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hideaway Hollow. We appreciated the extra toiletries and fans (because it does get pretty warm upstairs). Nicely stocked with kitchen appliances/pots and pans/utensils!

Perfect for mixed aged groups

We loved that this place had two separate "houses" We traveled with teenagers and adults and this made it perfect. The only bit of feedback I have is that it would be nice if sheets and toilet paper, paper towels etc...were supplied. Overall it was a great stay. I would stay again.

Fantastic

A great place for Motorcycle! The covered parking kept everting dry during the rain. Clean and comfortable beds. Plenty of room. We really enjoyed the back patio. Clay from Cincinnati says “ it was a phenomenal place, loved it”!

Motorcycle friendly

It was an absolute beauty of a stay, the guys rode our bikes with 2 support vehicles and the carport was perfect. Plenty of room.. the only problem we had was figuring out the tv, but so minor compared to the beauty of it. Will book this home again!!!!

We had a great stay, the house was set up very nice and was clean. I love the wildlife view and setting something we dont get here in the city. We got to see some deer come close to the windows. House was very spacious and fit all 12 of my family members.

Truly a Hideaway!

Very nice house, clean, nicely decorated, good AC, large and can sleep a lot of people. The contact-less check-in worked perfectly and was a great time-saver. The owners were attentive but not intrusive. The property is private and quiet. My family has been going to Concan for 50+ years and we've always stayed very close to the river. This property is further away from the noise and people, which is exactly what we were looking for... a great escape! A bonus ... there's an annex near the covered parking, that has a bathroom, laundry room and separate bedroom, which was a nice to have, although no AC in the laundry room. Had a great time and highly recommend for a quiet getaway!

Great Hideaway Cabin

Hideaway Hollow made our cabin experience unforgettable. The spot and views were the perfect outdoor trip. The only down fall of this cabin is that it did not have the small necessities we needed such as trash bags, toilet paper, a dish sponge, etc.. It would be greatly appreciated if the Host would add that to the next renter. Other than that, great experience! :)

Hey y'all! We're Brannon & Wendi Hightower, owner-operators of Frio River Resorts.

We met in college in 1995 and have been together ever since. Frio River Resorts was started by Brannon's parents nearly 20 years ago and it has been continuously Hightower-family-owned and operated the entire time, with us buying the business in 2018.

We're local and we live in Concan full-time and enjoy serving as stewards of our community with participation in local boards and volunteer organizations. You've likely seen us on River Road as you leave on Sunday supporting the Concan Volunteer Fire Department in our “Fill The Boot” fundraising campaigns, or out to eat at Neal's or House Pasture.
