Great country stay

We were in town for a family wedding and this was the perfect house for our group. Nice, quiet property and beautifully furnished house. Would stay again!

Unforgettable weekend!

My husband, 10 month old, mother, step-dad and myself stayed 4 nights in this BEAUTIFUL home! The house is off a quiet back rode but only a short drive from Gettysburg. The property owners were so kind and accommodating. We (of course) forgot a bag of baby toys in the chaos of packing to leave, i contacted the owners and they were more than willing to work with us in getting our items back. I cannot recommend this house enough!!

Amazing Farmhouse

Great Family Home

Our family had a lovely time at this property. Very close to Gettysburg for day trips. Beautiful spacious grounds and well stocked pond for catch release fishing. Brian the host was very easy to contact.

Amazing vacation home

We came here for a family vacation to Gettysburg and D.C. and used this home as a home base. The home was amazing and it was great to go back to the house after being around crowds all day. The owner was great with communication and was very attentive. The home was amazing and had everything we needed would recommend it to anyone.

Skiing at Liberty

We had a lovely weekend staying here! The house was well stocked with kitchen essentials, and we appreciated the decor and cleanliness. It was about 30 min to Liberty which worked out well for us.

Beautiful home and property!

We enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous farmhouse with character AND all the modern amenities/updates. The catch and release pond was fun and we spotted lots of wildlife (eagles, turkeys, deer, and more). The location was peaceful and remote, yet it was a short drive to Gettysburg. Great all around!

Gettysburg Family Trip

This property is PERFECT! It is central to the many activities the area has yet is a complete sanctuary from the bustle of downtown. Surrounded by corn, birds and nature your family will love this pristine property. The only bad part is having to leave!

Amazing Farm House

We stayed here with intention of skiing nearby. The house is not to far from the ski resorts. We enjoyed playing cards at the kitchen and stayed really warm even though it was snowing outside. We all would come back next year for round 2.

Inviting & Remote

This is a beautiful home with gorgeous decor & a nicely equipped kitchen. Great for relaxing, taking long walks & sleeping in some extremely cozy beds. Skiing at Liberty is a short drive away but next time we go, I’m not planning to leave the property. This home is outfit with everything any guest could need - we loved it!

Wonderful home/land, extremely private

It was so refreshing to come to this home, on acres of private land with corn fields all around you. When you step inside it is like a house beautiful magazine. Not what you might expect for an old farmhouse, yet updated to fit perfectly for a farmhouse. House had upscale furniture and decorations, more than we expected. Mattresses very comfortable. Plenty of towels for everyone. Very clean inside. Had firepit with wood supplied for you! Bathroom had shampoo and body wash for your use. Pond onsite to walk to. The owners had wonderful house books to browse thru, you can see where they got their decoratomg inspiration from. Only downside, if I was to mention anything, was that it is an old farmhouse with squeaky floors upstairs, and lots of steps to get up to the bedrooms and main bathroom. I would certainly recommend anyone to rent this house. So peaceful. The last night we were there, it had rained a short, short time, and when sun came out, we had a double rainbow, that felt like it was ours alone, as when on this property, you feel you are the only ones for miles and miles. LOVED IT! Would come again, if in Gettysburg area. About 15 minute drive to Gettysburg and historical fields.

Fall golf get away

Our group of golfers looks for location, cleanliness, a nice kitchen, a grill, a firepit and a great rate. Got them all here. Our November weekend found warm temps, great stargazing and good golf. This home was very clean and well stocked. Be aware there is no WiFi so bring your hot spot. The main BR has twin bunkbeds- draw straws ahead to see who climbs - note all beds were very comfortable and you wont be claustrophobic on the upper bunk. 15-30 min to multiple good golf courses. Very quiet setting- great place to chill. Owner team was very attentive.

This home is wonderful!

My daughter, Soster-in-Law, and I were on. Girls weekend. This home was so welcoming. It was very clean and very comfortable. The owner reached out to me to see if I had any questions before check-in. It’s close proximity to Gettysburg gives you a serene, beautiful setting to stay and still enjoy all Gettysburg has to offer. The views are breathtaking. The sunrises and sunsets are a picture from heaven. If you are looking for a nice family home for your stay in the Taneytown, MD area, this is the home for you.

Gorgeously finished property with all the comforts of home.

The entire experience was perfection! We booked last minute and Bryan and his team were able to accommodate our group with excellent communication and hospitality. The historic home was immaculately decorated and finished perfectly for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed fires in the large fire ring, ate in the eat in kitchen, enjoyed unwinding in the two beautiful living spaces and slept comfortably in the high-end bedding. This home was full of character and provided a great weekend away for us and our kids. The kids room was another great space. The large beds, play area with train track, bean bag and tv was ideal for our little ones to play and sleep. This is the perfect country home for a family weekend away. Nothing but great things to say about our experience !! Thank you again for a perfect stay - we will book again 💕
