Summary:

Spacious Studio In Epic Resort! Immerse yourself in this leafy setting with incredible mountain views, yet just minutes from downtown Canmore. This lovely 1 bed studio offers exemplary space in a great resort, perfect for a short or long stay in the Rockies. This surprisingly large studio has a dining area plus kitchenette with microwave, bar fridge and Keurig coffee maker. Chill out in air-conditioned comfort and enjoy resort facilities including the beautiful One Wellness Spa.



The Space:

Located 15 minutes from Banff, and approximately one hour from Calgary, this lovely studio comes with a spacious bedroom with king bed plus a private ensuite bathroom with scrumptious soft towels, king beds and luxury hotel linens. We love where we live, and we love to share it with guests, so when you stay with us we welcome you properly, with added touches such as freshly roasted local coffee and locally made, 100% natural bath and body products. The entire apartment is kept clean using only eco-friendly cleaning products (no nasty chemicals here!). Heated underground parking provided at a cost of $20 per day.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to all parts of the studio, and all amenities in Solara Resort & Spa. There is an adjacent lock off one bedroom condo that is available to book should you need it (if available).



The Neighborhood:

Solara Resort and Spa is located in the main tourist condo area. The local bus is nearby, with connections to a bus to Banff , Lake Louise and Calgary. If you come by airport shuttle the stop is a couple of minutes up the road. This is a licensed, legal condo, so your booking is assured. Coffee shops, liquor store, general store etc. are all 5 minutes walk away. If you need a little pampering, One Wellness spa is gorgeous, and is located within Solara Resort. There are restaurants, coffee shops and bars close by, see our Welcome Book for details.



Getting Around:

Free local Roam transit is available within Canmore, with connections to Banff and Lake Louise (fares apply). Legacy Trail bike path to Banff is literally a one minute ride away. Canmore is highly walkable, with dedicated paths for both foot traffic and bikes all over town. Bikes can be rented from Gear Up, a 15 minute walk from Solara.

Perfect Stay

We stayed only one night, but it was a fantastic experience. The location allowed us to walk to dinner/breakfast and the room was exactly as described. Communication was great and we’d happily stay again.

Unit is located in a nice quiet area but also close enough to everything in Canmore. We were able to walk everywhere.

There was no hair dryer in room. They didn’t lock the adjoining room Carpet needed to be changed No coffee or tea in room but they had auger there. Was told to go down to the Safeway to buy my own coffee and tea. At the price of the room those should be included.

Nice studio apartment in Canmore

This apartment was small but nicely decorated with all the basics. Beautiful king size bed with views of the mountains. A few small things were missing but communicated that to owner. Apartment is on the edge of town, most places walkable in 10-20 minutes or you can drive in a few minutes. Would recommend overall.

Great stay!

We loved our stay here! The location is great and within walking distance to many restaurants/ popular sights. The room was clean and just what we were looking for, very simple. The host was very responsive to emails and always got back to me in a timely manner when I had questions, which I really appreciate. Would definitely recommend!

Easter Long Weekend

We stayed during a long weekend and could not get anywhere near the hot tub as it it was filled with children all weekend, that was disappointing as we chose this place because we like to sit in a hot tub after hiking all day. Otherwise, the bed is comfortable and the room is nice. We got quick answers to our questions and the stay was nice. Bring your own coffee kuerig pods, if you drink coffee. We had to go out and buy some.

Very Nice Place

Nice quiet location that’s still close to many restaurants and trails . My husband enjoyed the use of the pool and hot tub . Overall highly recommend and would stay again . Best part very affordable room not overpriced for the area
