This sleek Sherrills Ford vacation rental features beautiful lake views and a spacious furnished deck. Take the kayaks out for a ride off of the dock, rent a boat at Lake Norman Marina or bring your own to explore over 500 miles of shoreline.

Lake Stay

The home itself was nice. A bit older but very clean and comfortable and well stocked. Very nice view of the lake. My only complaint is that the extreme steepness of the incline to get down to the lake was not made clear. I believe the listing just said you needed to be able to climb stairs. It ended up being much more difficult than stair climbing as there were no steps at all after stepping away from the last little step by the deck. It was very difficult to walk down and even more difficult to climb back up. You cannot tell this from the listing photos. We rented a boat for the week so we had to make that climb several times daily. And had to carry cooler, towels etc. And lastly…the ducks. Poop everywhere. All in the grass, on the boat dock. Walking down at night to enjoy a fire, stepping in the poop was unavoidable because there were no lights in the back. Impossible to see.

Beautifully appointed / excellent amenities

Shirelles Ford Haven was a lovely lakefront home to stay. They have an incredible dock with a large roofed area with seating and it looks brand new. The interior is perfectly decorated and spacious. Renting a boat is very easy along with the additional equipment for tubing and kneeboarding! Excellent experience!

Wonderful Long Weekend Retreat

A wonderful place to stay! Our favorite thing was to wake up in the morning and enjoy the back porch! We ventured out to kayak, fished, relaxed, cooked dinner, enjoyed the dock and plenty of space for a family of 4! Well stocked house, with plenty to do! Great communication throughout our stay! Would book again!!

Reset Heaven!

This was a family reset weekend. The lake house is exactly as pictured. The host is intentional on making this a great home away from home experience. She thought of everything from games, to blankets, candles(battery operated) complimentary snacks,books.Quiet neighborhood. Nearby grocery stores. Fire pit. We had an amazing time. Would definitely stay again.

This was the perfect place for a family reset. You will not be disappointed! The host is very intentional with providing you with everything a family would need. Games, blankets,towels,books. Clean,spacious,beautiful lake house. This was one of the Best rentals. Nice location with restaurants and grocery stores nearby. PERFECT! Make sure you sign the guest book!

Beautiful and cozy fall getaway

This is an excellent place to stay. We had a group of 4 friends and we had plenty of space. The property and view are beautiful. The neighborhood was quiet. The host was kind and responsive. Everything was clean and welcoming. We would stay here again for sure!

Perfect Lake Property

The property has a wonderful view of Lake Norman with a great dock and beach area. The home is beautifully done, clean and well appointed. The owner was quick to respond and very personable. An excellent place to stay.

Labor Day Trip

The home was beautiful and clean with everything you need to enjoy time on the lake. The beds were comfortable and the decor was cute and charming. The beach, dock, kayaks and swim area were perfect if you wanted just to float at home. Lake Norman never disappoints with its spectacular views and great waterfront dining. Always a favorite!

Family weekend

The house was very nice. Clean updated home but our only complaint was the overwhelming amount of goose droppings throughout the yard and beach area. I understand that you can’t control nature but it would be nice if there was an attempt to clean it up before renters arrive. The yard was unusable and the dock wasn’t much better. Luckily it was just a weekend.

Beautiful lakefront home, so well kept, clean and accommodating with many amenities. The kitchen was nicely equipped with a barbecue grill outside. Nice furniture for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view. Kayaking cornhole,football, with a nice fire pit down by the water.. couldn't ask for more perfect stay.

The Perfect Lake Spot

We arrived to find the most beautiful home inside and out, located at the most beautiful spot on the lake. Upon arriving from the decor, to the cleanliness, to the items available to assist during your stay, it looked as if the host had thought of everything. Our children enjoyed the time in the lake and kayaks as well as having smores at the fire pit lakeside. Any questions we had were answered quickly. If you are looking for a peaceful place on the lake this is it. The host also has the gift of hospitality which makes it the perfect lake spot for one,two or a whole family. We hope to come back soon as we enjoyed how close it was to the grocery store and restaurants (1 or 2 miles). Thankful for the opportunity to stay here and for a blessed 2024 vacation with our family that we will never forget.

Refreshing

My wife and I planned a short trip just to relax and have a nice place to ride our boat. This home is absolutely beautiful and very clean. We had everything that we could have possibly needed. Lake Norman is a nice place to take a boat ride. Shopping options are endless. This was a very “refreshing “ atmosphere that we needed!!
