The interior accomodations were very comfortable with the exception of broken icemaker and unstable glass top on kitchen table. Plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, towels etc. Bedrooms were comfortable and clean. The exterior needs maintenance. Landscaping untended, broken swing, broken piece off front door, dirty grill top, fire pit not working, table umbrella unstable. The boat dock was overall very nice, we rented a boat and the lake access and the cove were in a good location. We built a fire one night and enjoyed the lakeside,The property manager offered to come over to bring ice and clean the grill. He was very responsive.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share all of this with me. I’m really glad you were comfortable in the home and got to enjoy the lake, the dock, and a fire by the water. I also truly appreciate you pointing out the things that needed attention. I wish I had known about the broken swing sooner, but it has now been removed and we’ve put a hammock in its place for future guests. The glass-top table has also been fixed. Thank you for helping me catch those things so I could get them taken care of. You were wonderful guests, and I really enjoyed having you. You’re more than welcome to come back anytime!

Great place for a family getaway

We had a great time at the lake with our family here. Some of the finishes of the house weren't as nice as I would hope, but overall it was a great place for our family and a nice place to get away.

Rooms were ok on cleanliness. The outdoor grill was unusable. The outside area needed to be cleared of trash. The first 2 days of our 3 day stay the downstair’s AC was not cooling. The thermostat showed 77 degrees. The third day was a bit cooler due to an overcast day. Parking was difficult by the steep incline of the driveway. Not easily maneuvered by large vehicles. There isn’t a solution to this but a heads up on the description would be nice. There was only one half roll of paper towels for a family of 14 for a 3 day stay. After contacting the Evolve group we were given the lock combination to open the supply closet where we did find some paper towels. Along with AC filters that we were told to use to replace the completely plugged up ones and had been installed backwards. The lake view was lovely.

From the owner: “I wanted to personally reach out and say again how sorry I am that the home did not meet your expectations, especially with the HVAC issue. I understand how frustrating that must have been, particularly over the July 4th holiday. I do, however, want to clarify a few things. As soon as you notified me about the air conditioning, I offered a 100% refund because I didn’t feel it was right for you to pay for a stay that wasn’t up to our standards. I also offered two complimentary nights in the future because it was a holiday weekend. You chose to continue your stay and declined both offers. I scheduled the HVAC company at the earliest available opportunity. Throughout the process, we communicated frequently, and I did everything I could to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. After speaking with me, you also contacted Evolve. They ultimately offered you a partial refund, which you accepted.”

Great place

We really enjoyed our time at this house. It was spacious and exactly as described. The main challenge was navigating the steep, curving driveway and limited parking spaces since two of our group had large vehicles.

Overall fantastic stay. House is beautiful. Convenience of personal dock was great for our boat and jet ski rentals. The ONLY complaints are that the kitchen potholders and the bathroom rugs were not clean and the driveway proved rather difficult for our 3 vehicles to maneuver.

Great Week on the Lake

Beautiful house with spectacular views. Comfortable beds, private bathrooms for each bedroom and a well-furnished kitchen. The upper level of the dock provided a nice place to sit out of the sun while the lower level was great for swimming. The property manager, Bobby Wheeler, handled our one minor concern promptly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a peaceful lakefront home.

My friends and I were more than delighted with the property. The house was very clean and had more than enough room to accommodate 8 adults. The lake was warm and clean. Perfect for the whole family

Had a family birthday weekend with ten people from ages 6 to 63 and the home was perfect for all of them. The kids had their own room to watch movies and have cousin time, while the adults all had king size beds to relax in after an exciting day down at the dock…so plenty of space for our group. Bobby answered all our questions before we got there and was a pleasure to work with. Overall we would definitely recommend this home.

Lake View

The house is really a great house, but it is showing some wear. We loved the upstairs and the views from the bedrooms on the lake. The view of the lake is amazing, and the back deck was very nice. The dock sitting area needs to be cleaned. Overall, the house is a good house but needs some attention. The listing said it is good for elderly and that is questionable. One bedroom is on the main level which is great, but the stairs to the lake are very steep and not for the elderly. The house does have many features and would be great fun for young families. Also, the driveway is very steep and it is tight getting two cars in the garage.

We’re glad you enjoyed the home, beautiful lake views, upstairs spaces, and back deck, and we appreciate your thoughtful feedback. While the main-level bedroom offers added convenience, we understand the steep stairs to the lake may not be suitable for all guests, and we’ll update the listing language to set clearer accessibility expectations. We also appreciate your comments about the dock sitting area and other areas needing attention and will make sure they receive appropriate attention. We understand the steep driveway and garage configuration may also be challenging for some guests. Thank you for helping us set clearer expectations and improve the experience for future guests.

Very nice property with Great View

8 senior citizens who travel together every year over the New Years Day time. We enjoy going to different locales and different homes that offer different amenities. This property was very nice. It was mostly as described. The home is showing its age a little (much like me). The kitchen was missing a very important tool..........a wine cork screw!!!! Seriously, it's a very nice home and the 8 of us were very comfortable.

Great Lakefront Vacation!

The house was beautiful and we love the area and city of Chattanooga. The view was fantastic. Bobby was a great property manager. The home is slightly worn and needed a good vacuuming that we took care of. One bathroom door wouldn’t close. Minor issues that didn’t take away from our enjoyment at all. Again, thanks to Bobby for making everything easy and enjoyable. We’ll be back to the area soon.

The views and entire home was absolutely beautiful. We truly enjoyed the special touches, such as plenty of shampoo/conditioner/lotion luxury hand/wash and bath towels. The kitchen had absolutely everything you would need, even fully stocked with coffee, powder creamer, sugar sweeteners and even stevia. The furnishings were so comfortable and the art and decor was amazing. Although we were here for a wedding and did not spend a lot of time in the home, we would love to come back and utilize more of the amenities that are available. wonderful lake weekend getaway!

We found this gem for a group of 8 friends (4 couples) to spend a relaxing weekend on a lake and were very pleased with how easy, comfortable and beauitful everything turned out to be! Bobby was incredibly helpful and flexible in the check in process, the house was well prepared and clean, had a BEAUTIFUL lake view and low key vibes. Would absolutely go back with a similar size group. There are a lot of stairs going down to the lake so be warned if anyone has mobility issues. The deck was a bit too grungy to use and had an odd 6 person limit (but seating for 10?). Nevertheless plenty of places to hang as a group or solo. Would highly recommend!
