Great golf course house!

This house was very spacious and had everything you needed and then some. Great location and we love the view of the golf course even though we don't golf! Brian is an awesome owner who is very on top of anything that may arise. An extra shout out to Brian and Pam for labeling light switches and having a binder with all instructions (with pictures) on how to operate the pool, spa, tv system, etc. Thanks!!!

Amazing

Our Family of 5 spent our summer vacation at Brian's home and could not have found a better place to stay. Everything about this home inside and outside fit our needs and beyond. All details within the house have carefully been though of to provide a vacation experience you'll never forget. Outside is equally as relaxing and has a set up so conveniently thought of, it makes the days just slip away. This will become our paradise home for summers to come. Yes it's hot in July but this did not affect ability to enjoy being outside. Can't wait until next time we arrive. Brian is truly an amazing host. see you soon.

Super vacation rental ⛳️🏊‍♂️🌴

This vacation home exceeded any expectations. From curb appeal, decor, space, patio, pool, spa, and golf course view to the experience of a well-stocked kitchen, appliances, dishes, glassware, utensils for pleasant entertaining. (If you’ve ever been to a rental with minimal glassware, cookware, no spices or your first cup of caffeine you know what I’m talking about.). Regular maintenance and gardening was unobtrusive. Owner was extremely helpful to any and all questions re the tech setups for pools and a/c. Unanticipated bonus was the Avondale community and trial membership at Avondale Golf Club - extraordinarily friendly experience, great practice facilities,golf course, and social events. We were joined by daughter and family including three young children. Having two ensuitebedrooms made for family harmony! We all look forward to a return. Thanks!

Beautiful property on Avondale at #4 Tee Box

Overall a wonderful stay, marred only by a great deal of cleaning we had to do, repairing, etc. The house is very well stocked, quiet and Avondale is a bonus - great group of people, your rental includes a social membership and the ability to join for a month, quarter, etc. during your stay. The owner Brian was extremely helpful, and wasn't happy with the cleaning we received prior to our arrival. That said, most long-term rentals (including this one) just don't provide the cleaning staff with enough time to wash blankets, bed spreads, throw rugs in the bathrooms, mop/clean the floors really well, windows, air filters, carpets cleaned, etc. The maintenance items just get overlooked - smoke alarm batteries, light bulbs, but again, Brian was prompt and very helpful. The hot tub was soothing (watch your step down), although in-ground tubs take 2-3 hours to heat up. The pool heat never reached high 80's as we were there in January when temps were mid-60's to 70's. Trying to heat both cost an additional $450 on top of the $200 allowance....ouch. We really enjoyed our stay, just providing a heads' up!

Thanks for the review, Lisa. We were lucky to have you as a guest and extremely thankful for your feedback. As I mentioned, I was appalled to find out after the fact about the subpar cleaning for your arrival. We've never had issues before and after contacting the company that does the housekeeping, it turns out that they had sent out their newest employees... not our regulars. They've assured us that won't happen again It's important to note that our housekeeping is not limited to a couple of hours, and is supposed to work until the job is done to our specifications... spotlessness. We've also asked that housekeeping give us a heads up regarding beeping smoke detectors, burned out light bulbs, etc., so that future guests checking in don't have to deal with these annoyances. In regards to the pool and spa heat, our $200/mo. utility allowance covers, for example, heating the spa up to 104 degrees once a day for 30 days, in general. Of course, it does take more to heat the pool to the mid to high 80's. And, as a note to future guests, the need to even heat the pool for use is really only about 3 months out of the year (Jan - mid-March). Of the 21 guests we've had over 2 1/2 years, only one other guest went over the $200 allowance... by $63. We were very happy you were enjoying the pool a lot. Looking at the daily usage of gas, you heated the pool maybe 20 days or so out of the month. My guess is that the cost to heat our spa/pool is on par with most residential systems. Fantastic home

This home is great and has everything you need. We really like the layout of the house. It has lots of living spaces so everyone can comfortably spend time together or find some privacy when needed. And the house has all the comforts & amenities you'd want. As so many reviews have said, the outside is the best. The pool and spa are so nice, and we really appreciated the views and privacy. Brian was a fantastic host. His guide to the home is very detailed and he's very quick to respond to any questions. We'd love to stay there again.

A true paradise in the desert!

This house could not have been more fantastic. What a gem, and one we will plan to visit again. The layout is perfect with plenty of space and an incredible outdoor area. It's located in a lovely gated golf community and the view of the golf course creates a feeling

Fabulous home!!!!

We just had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful pool home on the golf course for the last two weeks. The home is impeccable, beautifully decorated and fully stocked with all essentials! Brian, the owner of the home was always in communication and available to answer any questions. There were detailed instructions on how to use everything in the home. I live in Los Angeles and this was a nice change from being on shut down due to the coronavirus.

The pictures don't do the house justice!

Beautiful, spacious home with a great back yard right on the golf course. Clean house and kind owners. Definitely would recommend!

Lovely home on fairway.

When we got here I don’t think we left for a week! So nice and peaceful around the pool and hot tub. Pool was cleaned twice a week and super clean. If we had any questions owner was very helpful. Definitely recommend this place

THIS IS A RARE FIND FOR THE DESERT. THE OWNERS {BRIAN & PAM } DESCRIBED IT PERFECTLY AS A " PARADISE IN THE DESERT ". EVERY AMENITY WAS READILY AVAILABLE. GORGEOUS VIEWS OF THE PALM TREES AND GOLF COURSE AND FLOWERS EVERY WHERE ORANGE TREES THAT YOU CAN PICK AND ARE DELICIOUS . THE OWNERS WILL EVEN GIVE YOU TWO PASSES TO PLAY GOLF ON THE VERY NICE AVONDALE COURSE OR YOU CAN BUY AS WE DID, A ONE MONTH TRAIL MEMBERSHIP WITCH GIVES YOU ALL THE PRIVILEGE'S AVAILABLE AT THE CLUB INCLUDING UNLIMITED GOLF. IT'S A GREAT DEAL. THE MEMBERS AT THE CLUB AND THE SURROUNDING NEIGHBORS ARE ALL VERY FRIENDLY AND MAKE YOU FEEL RIGHT AT HOME IN THE COMMUNITY. ALL AND ALL WE HAD A GREAT RESPITE FROM THE COLD NORTHWEST FOR A MONTH. Paradise in the Desert is right!

We just got home from staying two weeks. Everything was great. The beds are very comfortable as are the sofa/sectionals. Tv and wifi great. Netflix in every room! I don't even have that at home! The kitchen is well stocked. Great blender! Beautiful new appliances. We enjoyed picking oranges for fresh squeezed juice! Scrabble games and puzzles for a bad weather day...which there are not many of. Best of all the house is so quiet and relaxing. The biggest noise was the ting of a driver hitting a golf ball. Very well stocked with paper products, towels etc. Pam and Brian were so nice and responsive. A definite do again.

Outstanding Home!

We loved, loved, loved this place! Our jaws dropped as we walked into the house and looked over our temporary residence. It’s extremely clean, bright, well decorated, has a gorgeous view, very comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and equipped with all the comforts of home. The welcome bottle of “unwind” wine was an added bonus! While we enjoyed being in the house, we spent most of our time out back appreciating the expansive view of the Avondale golf course and mountains. On the chillier nights, we took advantage of both the hot tub and outdoor gas heater. We bought a month’s membership at the Avondale country club and played many, many rounds of golf on the fantastic course. There must be a law in Avondale that all residents must smile and wave as they go by because everyone we saw did exactly that. The check-in directions and house manual were very detailed and easy to follow. Brian and Pam were very pleasant to deal with and quickly responded to any question. I honestly asked Brian if they would consider selling their home! We are recommending this place to all our friends and we will absolutely book this home again next season.

My wife, Pam, and I live in Seattle. We have 2 kids in college and are a few years away from retiring. We have had day dreams of escaping the long grey winters. The opportunity to buy this ideal home in Avondale Country Club came up and we pounced. But, until we do retire, we'd like to share this amazing place with you. It's newly furnished to make you feel at home.

We bought this property because it is in a warm climate. It is on a golf course with an amazing outlook. It has ideal exposure... morning sun and afternoon shade, with a great pool and spa. And, it is large enough to host family and friends.
