Disappointing!
Rating Details:
The property manager was adequately helpful.
The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.
I was very happy with the location.
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

From the description of the property, I had high expectations, but was extremely disappointed and was pleased to leave the property. Things we disliked:The property was grubby and had not been properly cleaned. The stove was so grimy that to cook in it would have been a health hazard. The dishwasher had grime on the inside; the cleaning sponges were only fit for the dirt bin. We had to buy new ones in order to wash dishes in the sink. The towels provided had a strange smell, we had to use our own towels. The bed in the main bedroom did not have a blanket or a duvet, only sheets and a thin bedspread. On the first night we were so cold that we had to sleep in tracksuits with the aircon on to keep warm. The next day we bought a blanket to put on the bed. When we booked through we were told that there was onsite parking. The note that came with the keys stated no parking! Street parking outside the apartment was limited to 1⁄4 hour. Fortunately one of the tenants showed us a visitors parking which although unsuitable, we used.Things we liked:The location alongside the estuary was stunning. Conclusion.If we had not paid for the week we would have moved out on day 2.
