Welcome to Banksia Cottage, a recently renovated home with coastal vibes in Bawley Point.

Perfect for a family or group of couples getaway, located in a quiet street in walking distance to two of the best beaches in Bawley Point and the local food van 'Flo'.

Banksia Cottage has a private backyard with an outdoor entertaining area and fire pit ready for you to unwind after a day at the beach, boating or bushwalking.

The perfect place to relax and enjoy a getaway at beautiful Bawley Point. Banksia Cottage has a private and fully fenced backyard with an outdoor shower, entertaining area and fire pit ready for you to unwind after a day at the beach, boating or bushwalking.

There are three bedrooms, two have queen beds and one has a king bed or two singles upon request. Both bathrooms include a shower and toilet, the second bathroom has a washing machine and dryer. All linen is provided, just bring your beach towels!

We are proud to be a part of the Bawley Point and Kioloa Community Microgrid which means we use our solar panels together with a newly installed Tesla Battery for much of our power and share this power with the local community when needed. It is the State’s first microgrid of its kind that provides reliable, renewable and stand-alone power supply during network outages.

Very enjoyable

We stayed at the property with our family and dog. It’s a very nice and clean place with just a short stroll to nice beaches, including one that is dog friendly all hours. The backyard is secured for dogs. We would not hesitate to book the house again.

Great place

I first stayed at Banksia cottage with my wife and teenage kids over the October long weekend. We enjoyed the place so much we immediately booked a week in January! The house is clean, comfortable and very well set up for a comfortable stay. Location is great too, with a very short walk to both Gannet Beach an Murramarang Beach.

Great find near Gannet Beach

Had a fabulous week in Banksia Cottage celebrating Xmas with adult family and our dog!!Location is perfect with a 4 min flat walk to the closest beach and multiple great beaches close by including an off leash one.The house is not done justice by the photos on the web - it was much more spacious than we expected which was great for an adult group. Access to the back garden is a bit disjointed but workable.It has to be one of the best 'fitted out' houses we have stayed in - everything you would need for meal preparation and general living, including a collection of plastic containers for left overs!!Would highly recommend....

Ideal Family Quite Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay, the location was great, just a short stroll to the beach and a morning takeaway coffee from Flo Food van. The house was clean and fully equipped with everything you need, and the interior styling is simple, fresh and light. A very enjoyable and relaxing family holiday!

Family holiday

The property is very well equipped, with everything we needed for our week. It’s an easy walk to the beaches and the outdoor shower was great. The property manager/owner were very quick to respond to a couple of issues we had with the house.

Exceeded expectations

The property was light and airy with a well equipped kitchen and just about everything else you needed. The pet safe yard was really nice.

Beautiful location and relaxing stay

The location was quiet and a short walk to the beach. The accommodation was spotless with lovely interior design. The kitchen was amazing and had the best utensils and other bits and pieces you need for cooking - the best I’ve experienced in Stayz type accommodation. The back garden was fully enclosed and our pooch had a ball sniffing around. Gorgeous bird life to keep us company. The linen was high quality and it was great to have wifi which can be tricky in the area. Living areas were spacious with plenty of room for everyone. I highly recommend!

Everything you need

Banksia Cottage was a nice surprise. It is clean, tidy and has everything you need for a holiday stay without being cluttered. The beds are very comfortable, and the deck is lovely to sit out on and enjoy a few quiet drinks. We will definitely be back.

Immaculately presented and well fitted

Stayed in early January with two other couples for a fishing and beach trip - was pleasantly surprised to see that this is an excellently appointed place, fitted out with new appliances and furniture with ease of stay in mind. Excellent location and painfree check in and check out. Would highly recommend for a group of friends looking to have close proximity to the beach and walking distance to bakery/IGA/bottleshop.
