The Space:

Enter the apartment into an open-plan kitchen/dining living space featuring concrete flooring and wall-mounted reverse-cycle air con. The kitchen comes equipped with a medium sized LG fridge, electric cooktop and under-bench oven, double sink and a tall table with 4 stools. There’s also an under-bench Haier combined washing machine/clothes dryer. The lounge area has a couch which converts into a single bed if needed, a rug for winter comfort and a ‘smart’ TV. A flight of stairs takes you up to the loft bedroom which is carpeted and offers a queen-sized bed, built-in wardrobes with lots of space for longer stays and a door to a small balcony overlooking the interior hall of the building. The ensuite bathroom has stylish floor-to-ceiling tiling and a roomy shower recess with a glass screen.

Situated on Tasmania’s north coast where the Mersey River meets the Bass Strait, the city of Devonport has much to offer visitors, both culturally and historically. Visit The Bass Strait Maritime Centre to learn more about the intriguing maritime history of the city through an extensive collection of objects, models, photographs and exhibits which retell the exciting adventures of early explorers and shipwrecks. Art lovers can immerse themselves in Tasmanian art at the Devonport Regional Gallery, offering a collection of fine and decorative art and crafts, with a predominant focus on 20th-century glass, ceramics and woodcraft. Or learn about the traditional lifestyle of Tasmanian Aboriginal people at the Tiagarra Aboriginal Culture Centre and Museum, which displays petroglyphs and designs in rock.
