If you want to explore the Collingwood area, then this is the place to be. We are close to everything - Blue Mountain, Wasaga Beach, Nordic Highlands, Playtime Casino, golf courses, rail trail for biking, hiking, snowmobiling and so much more. Spacious hotel style suite, (in our home) the newly rebuilt Batteaux Schoolhouse. You can enjoy your own private entrance and space. Brand new queen bed, large TV, leather love seat that reclines. Mini fridge, toaster and a coffee maker. Maximum of two people as we are on a septic system. Parking on the property and private entrance.

Amazing little getaway

Diane's place was our last pit-stop before heading home after a camping trip. The place was really clean, the decor was also a really nice touch to the place, the bed was really comfortable and the big bathroom with the big shower was a bonus.Thank you for hosting us!

Cute studio!

We stayed for one night when in Collingwood for a visit to the Scandinave Spa. The studio was immaculately clean and host was very responsive. Convenient to Collingwood downtown. Giving a 4/5 because photos a bit misleading as doesn't show that schoolhouse is actually connected to a house.

Peaceful & Welcoming Escape

Diane and her husband’s renovated schoolhouse is so beautiful. It was everything advertised and more! I highly recommend staying here. Diane sent us recommendations of activities in the area as well as detailed instructions for check in/out. Highly recommend!

Schoolhouse gem!

The property was absolutely fantastic. So unique, beautifully maintained, and very easy to access! The hosts were lovely and sent us a detailed message ahead of our arrival, as well as including helpful notes on everything we could need in info cards. Would absolutely stay here again.

Golfing Get A Way

Quiet area close to downtown Collingwood and all that the community has to offer. (ie restaurants, hiking/biking trails, golfing). Very clean.

My husband and I have rebuilt the old Batteaux Schoolhouse and have made it our home.
We are recently retired math teachers from the local high school and are enjoying retirement and hosting guests in the Schoolhouse Loft and the Schoolhouse Keller.

We are located close to Collingwood, Blue Mountain, Wasaga Beach and the new casino.
There are lots of activities near by. The rail trail is right outside our backyard.
