The house was very clean, nice size, beds comfortable ,two baths were nice to have for 4 people, nice deck area, great to use washer/dryer and very easy check in and out. I would stay there again. The only down side was some of the neighborhood was quite run down and looked a little shady to drive down to the house. But the immediate neighbors were fine.

Fit our Needs

If you are looking for a place to stay with your soldier in training after Turning Green, this place is perfect. It is close to base, Walmart, and multiple restaurants. Our trainee mostly wanted to hang out, rest, and reconnect with family, and this home gave us the perfect chance to do that. We really enjoyed having a smart tv in each room for entertainment and relaxing. The neighborhood was quiet as well.

Clean House

The stay at the house was fine. The issues we had were there was no trash can outside to put the full bags. We stacked them on the back porch so the dogs in the neighborhood would not get into them. The back porch was covered in gum balls. We swept them off so we could use the porch.The neighborhood has several houses that are not kept up. There was a lot of furniture stacked at the curb in front of houses. To be fair there looked like the neighborhood had a severe storm come through.The house itself was clean and everything worked.

Comfortable and Conveniently Close to Fort Moore

Although the neighborhood was older and had seen better days, to put it nicely, the location of this rental house was extraordinarily good for access to Fort Moore--both entrances. It was also quick and easy to access the freeway and Victory Drive. The area was pretty quiet and not busy. The house was very much as described. One thing people should bear in mind is that although the dishwasher, kitchen, and bathrooms have soap, the showers did not have soap or shampoo supplied. As is common, you must bring your own for that. The wifi was very good and there were four tv's in the house with roku's which worked well. One thing to note: the master bedroom's bathroom's shower is plumbed backward compared to any other I have ever seen. It goes from off to hot to cold. The cookies and Martinellis that were available for guests were a nice touch, I thought. All in all, I was quite pleased with our rental in Columbus. It was just right for the three of us and briefly, a fourth, when our son, who was commissioned at OCS, joined us.

Great Location for Ft. Moore visit

Choice of a house for our visit was determined on best proximity to Ft. Moore. Very short drive, less than 10 minutes. Neighborhood was quiet. House was very clean, well maintained, and tastefully decorated. Host was very nice whenever we called to report minor concerns. Only 2 disappointments. 1) Water lines were mixed up. Scalding hot water used for washer and could not be adjusted even when selecting cold wash. As a result the laundry room became a sauna. No hot water in Master shower so everyone had to use Hall bathroom shower. 2) Ill equipped kitchen made it a difficult challenge to cook meals for our week’s stay. Had to creatively improvise sauce pans for mixing bowls before washing the pans to use for cooking. Plastic spatula set with large spoons & whisk not sturdy enough. Dutch oven pots and frying pans not large enough. No toaster, cutlery set, kitchen shears, mixing bowls, cutting board, colander, vegetable peeler, pizza cutter, casserole dishes. Be prepared to purchase whatever you need if you plan to prepare meals for a family.
