Full-size kitchen, dining area, open concept living space, large bedrooms, baby crib, loft, patio, BBQ, and ample parking plus garage space for a vehicle and or your toys. This home is minutes away from the best outdoor recreational trails for everything your family wants to do and has full access to our Members Only Community Centre with Pool, Hot Tub, Tennis/Pickle Ball courts, games, and Library.

Loved this place! Perfect for family getaway. They had everything we needed already there. Loved evenings at the fire pit and the back patio. Would visit again for sure.

We were very impressed with the property. It was our first time using Vrbo and our host Jeff. Check in was easy the house was very clean and we each had our own spaces with the kitchen and living room to interact in. We had a great time and would stay here again.

The house is relatively new and large. Beds are soft. We enjoyed the spacious livingroom and dining area. The rec room is not actually part of the house. It’s in a community center around 5 minute drive from the house. Next to the community center is a small museum about the Tashme camp.

The views were impressive and the firepit had enough wood for us for one night. The place was very nice but the cooking wear had some crusts on it. There were parts of the house that weren't fully completed yet but the house owner has already communicated this with us. Over all it was a very nice and cozy stay.

Sunshine Valley Stay

The stay was lovely in a beautiful spot. We very much enjoyed our time and the home was impressive with a great kitchen space. The only thing missing was blinds or curtains in the bedroom.

Friends getaway

Great place and so close to the Lower Mainland. There are a few quirks and some of the things need a bit of an upgrade (kitchen faucet), but overall it served its purpose of a girls getaway.

We had a great stay ! The house was clean , comfortable and spacious enough for our group of 9 . The house had everything we could need . The fire pit was great to have and firewood for purchase across the street was very convenient. We were unable to go to the pool because we stayed mid week and didn’t realize the pool was closed mid week in june , so that was disappointing but no fault of the host. We still found plenty to do with our time .The only con i could think of would be the proximity to the neighbours. If you are sitting out at the fire you are very close to the neighbours with little to no privacy. It wasnt a big deal as i dont think all the neighbours were there when we were but just something to keep in mind if privacy is what you are after . Overall was a great experience

Mountain getaway with all the amenities

Had a great weekend with friends! Lovely, well-equipped house with a great balcony, in a cute new community being built in the Sunshine Valley. Great views of the surrounding mountains, some simple trails for walking the dog nearby, and comfortable, spacious living quarters. Comfy beds, big kitchen, lots of space to sit and chill!

Cute cozy cabin!

This cabin was perfect for my family and friends to stay in together. The view of the mountains was amazing and we could see the kids playing in the snow from the dining room table. The cabin was very well put together. Thank you Jeff for the lovely stay!

The place is so clean and beautiful. Anything you need is there offcourse except the food . Very quiet , very relaxing area , complete with board games, kids accessories and even dog tray food. We like this place and we definitely recommending to our friends.

Nice place

Overall it was pretty good. Will need some extra amenities such as enough towels and bedding for all guests. Would be better if there were some window screens as it was warm in the afternoons as well as curtains.

Hi Gladys - Thank you for your comments. My wife and I have been using a professional (and reliable) cleaning service that, among other things, reviews the number of guests we are told are arriving and ensures that that number of full-size towels, as well as some medium and smaller face towels, are available for the number of guests expected as we are conscious about the environment and try to reduce our footprint where we can. As for bedding, there are five beds, each with a minimum of two pillows, a full set of sheets, and blankets for each. We have additional blankets and pillows as a backup for unexpected guests, more than enough for a maximum group of 10 people, as per our house rules. As for screens, we do have them and install them during the summer season, when bugs are a problem. Blinds are installed in the bedrooms and the living room blinds are being installed this summer. Great place

Great place to stay. Everything as expected in the house. Just check that you know some of the amenities listed are not at the house, but at a community center. They are all there, just can be deceptive if you think they are at the house (hot tub, pool, games room)

Ladies Get Away

We had a relaxing stay with comfy beds and cozy rooms. Great for escaping to the outdoors or sitting inside and chatting over a puzzle. We travelled by car to Skagit provincial park and did a beautiful hike - Serpents Back trail. For some reflection we visited the Tashme museum. Lightning Lakes proved to be the way to end our stay. A 20 minute drive to a winter wonderland.

Home away from Home

Jeff’s property had all the amenities of home and was in a beautiful location for all outdoor activities that we wanted to do. It was a short drive to Manning park for skiing and showshoeing (members of our party did both) and in the other direction to Hope for some beautiful hiking opportunities (which we also took advantage of) We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Would highly recommend if you enjoy outdoor activities in this up and coming area. Host was very responsive with questions about the property both on check in and check out. Thank you for a lovely weekend away

Cozy comfortable place

We were apprehensive about our first home stay experience with three kids and a furry baby. We were pleasantly surprised by all the amenities and coziness of the place. It’s just like a home away from home , you need not bother about anything at all!! Too bad we couldn’t explore rhe valley coz of snow but we will be back in summer! Thanks Jeff!

New Neighbourhood as advertised

We book this place for 8 people to Manning Park. Place is about 15 mins from Hope and 35 mins to Manning Park. It's a gated new development so there's new houses going up around the home. The home itself is new and spacious. The kitchen is stocked and no one has to sleep on the floor. We wish the fire pit was setup for outdoor seating at night. Overwall, it was great stay!

This property offers stunning views of the mountains and has its own set of trails right outside the door, great for anything you want to do. It's in close proximity to Manning Park which offers amazing outdoor recreation year around. Being located in the Sunshine Valley means no ferries, a reliable highway to get there, and you feel like you are far away, in a remote place, but you're close to any amenities you might want.

My wife and I have a larger family, grandparents, inlaws, and lots of kids, so we designed a home for everyone to stay in, but with private areas so everyone has their own space. The loft is great for parents with kids, there is ample room for sleeping bags. The two bedrooms are larger and have access to each bathroom, and the family room below has a couch that turns into a double bed and a second TV, and is a great space for the kids to hang out in while the adults can relax upstairs.
