Moso Island Luxury Retreat is a private house right on the beach.

Designed to capture views of the waterfront from all rooms. Moso Island Luxury Retreat features two master ensuite bedrooms on either side of the house, ensuring privacy for each couple. Personal deck off each bedroom for morning coffee.
Private pool on deck and a Little Beach Hut.

Moso Island Luxury Retreat is a 40-minute drive from Port Vila or 30 minutes from the airport, then a five minute boat transfer to your home. The home is one of 30 blocks on the only subdivision on the island, so it will always be exclusive. The local village is a ten minute stroll away where you can purchase local produce.

When you arrive at the airport, it is very important to take advantage of the very generous duty-free allowances, and your driver will take you straight to a local supermarket for groceries etc.

Our best advice is to use your baggage allowance for food favourites from home and pack minimal clothing.

We have a washing machine, so less is best.

We are totally off the grid but retain all the luxuries that make a perfect holiday. Your power is delivered by a solar system. The entire Island is off grid.

Please note that we do not add on additional cleaning fees.

After you book, we need to contact you to arrange your transfer to beautiful Moso Island. This may be from the airport, accommodation, town centre or Moso Boat Landing.

A friend and I stayed here for 12 nights and it was exactly what we needed for a relaxing, totally away-from-it-all break! The location on the beach with its own pool was just perfect!!Our transfers from/to our accommodation in Port Vila either side of our stay on Moso Island were well coordinated with a stop at the supermarket on the way to stock up on ALL our food and essentials. Communication with the owner was really good - Wendy was very prompt to respond before and during our stay. The pool and garden were well attended to.Elsie, the house keeper, helped organise a boat trip around the island where we saw turtles, expertly navigated into a cave, snorkelled and swam. The walk to the other side of the island kept our step count up (30mins each way) and the beach and snorkelling there is just sensational. We had it all to ourselves a couple of times - very lucky!It was such a delight to wave at the kids as they chattered and walked to school early mornings.We walked to both villages and all the locals we passed were friendly and happy to chat! A lovely local and two kids even walked with us to the school. We donated some school books and pencils, which were gratefully received. We ventured out to The Moso for lunch and cocktails a couple of times, and even booked a massage and facial at their spa. Staff there were very welcoming.Evenings were spent relaxing on the deck with drinks and dinner, Needless to say, we are now back home missing that amazing view!

Absolutely magnificent. The house, the location was perfect for a secluded getaway. The 30min walk across the Island for snorkeling in the bay is good as you’ll find anywhere in the world. Elsie was very helpful and nothing was a problem.

Amazing location

The location is amazing - the snorkeling out front and at the isolated beach on the other side of the island; the walks through nature, the pool with a view, and the little resort restaurant a stroll away. The house is spacious and comfortable. A few little maintenance issues need attending to like tears in flyscreens and wobbly taps, but otherwise it feels like luxury. The house manager, Elsie, was super helpful and lovely, and the wifi was better than expected and appreciated by my teens. Highly recommended!

A thoroughly relaxing holiday

We had a rocky start to our holiday owing to a miscommunication between the host and the house manager, however it was sorted very quickly and Elsie, the house manager went above and beyond to get the house ready and organise our transport. The house itself is really well laid out, well equipped and stunningly located. The beds are super comfortable and if you pile enough cushions onto the sun lounges, they're great to relax in the afternoon. We went snorkelling every morning off the beach at the front of the house and spent the rest of the time relaxing or exploring. The pool wasn't useable during our stay but to be honest, it was much more refreshing to swim in the sea. You buy your own groceries on the way to the island but if the supplies run short as ours did, there is a lovely restaurant at The Moso - a luxury resort a very short walk along the beach, where you can have breakfast, lunch, dinner or just enjoy drinks and a gorgeous view. Overall we had a wonderful, relaxing stay.

Amazing stay!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a Moso Island Luxury retreat and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The location was nothing short of amazing and the accommodation itself proved to be a perfect fit for our family of three - two adults and our teenage son. I highly recommend this property. It exceeded all our expectations in terms of location, comfort, and hospitality. Thank you to Wendy, for hosting us and a special mention to the exceptional service provided by Elsie and Gideon who truly made our holiday memorable. Our highlight was the walk to Embas beach daily for incredible snorkelling straight off the beach! Thank you for the incredible stay!
