It worked

Dusting really was lacking, the dust on the fake plants was so thick I placed one out on the patio. It was lacking a lot as for the kitchen, no pot holders, or spices. Not enough TP and they won't give you more at the front desk, you're expected to purchase more. Shower hot water was hit & miss. Bedding wasn't comfortable. There was a portion of tack strip exposed on the threshold of the bedroom, it would cut at my feet. As a landlord myself this place had untapped potential. The electric panel is scary, the outlets weren't reliable. It needs a remodeling for sure. The location is a bit sketchy, but inside the staff takes pride in their care of the place.

Vacation

Apartment was perfect for us. Very accurate listing and well managed. The building is a bit old and elevators are slow but it wasn’t an issue for us. Just allow extra time during “rush hour” or use the stairs. (8:30-10 when guests are all trying to get to their activities)Would definitely stay at this apartment and in the Sunset Waikīkī building again.

Location is perfect

Perfect stay, location is close to front ocean. Location faces the hills instead of the ocean. Walk is accessible to Target, restaurant, ABC store, or driving out of the city. CON: I don’t know but instruction to access building was not sent until the midnight of date of stay. Vrbo customer service was super accommodating. I definitely recommend reaching out to property management days before arrival.

Amazing and convenient apartment in the heart of waikiki

The Room(s):Everything you could ask for was in the kitchen: SHARP knives, GOOD pots and pans, cutting board, rice cooker and AIRFRYER. As a group who was trying to save money by cooking instead of eating out, the kitchen was perfectly equipped for making meals for 4. Not to mention that the trash shoot is just two doors away which made cleanup very easy. The chairs (2 of them), beach towels (3), umbrellas (2), and other beach supplies came in clutch so we didn’t have to rent anything (except surfboards!). Also, the balcony is such a peaceful place to have your morning coffee and evening wine. The beds were so comfortable—even the sofa bed! No sharp springs digging into your back or old mattresses sagging under you.My only complaint for the whole stay is one that’s more feedback than anything: the sofa bed didn’t seem cleaned when we checked in (old sheets still on, some rubbish underneath), but there was nothing gross about it.The Property:A super easy check in (called the Property Manager when I arrived and checked in with the security in the lobby) that took less than 5 minutes. A free parking place (which just a parking permit in the property’s parking garage) is always a godsend when you have a car in waikiki, and the wifi was easy to connect to and pretty fast (4 people surfing internet with ease and 2 of them doing more intense work). The gym is a little lacking (as most resort gyms are), but the pool, lawn, and grills were very well maintained and popular!

Better than expected

Everything is there .. canopy/ chairs for 2/ umbrellas ! You are next door to the laundry room. .. we felt super safe ! So close to beach ! Perfect walk ! We left 2 beach floats for the next guests ! MAHALO!!

Ideally located

The apartment is in a great location. Not to close to the hustle and bustle of Waikiki so it is quiet. But well within walking distance. The apartment was cosy but needs a little updating. The curtains didn’t close completely, thanks god for my hair clips, that did the trick. I didn’t cook whilst I was there but the kitchen is a decent size if you wanted to cook and there were lots of utensils. Overall, a wonderful experience, I’d stay again.

Relaxing Stay

Very clean, and the bed was comfortable, elevators were fast. Very windy just outside the building. Nice touch in having beach chairs and beach umbrella Did wish the TV get Youtube channels that was disappointing. Overall it severed our needs and I would recommend.

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful stay! Loved that we had a free parking space there which saved us a lot of money. Beautiful view of the mountains and just a few short blocks walk to the beach. Loved the convenience of the kitchen also!

Beautiful Location, dirty crockery

The Location is not only super, it’s really great! Is it near to the Waikiki Beach (5Min. Walk), but the crockery was sticky and the interior furnishing is old.

Not bad for a last minute rental

We had to book this place last minute. The check in process was good. Free parking was great. The resort is pretty tired and old but the elevators were efficient and the location was good. The view from the balcony was a good view of the mountains. One huge downside was the air conditioner. It was so loud, clanking and popping all night long. We had to have it on too because there weren't screens on the doors or windows. The shower head was messed up and the water pressure was not great either. Other than that it was good for what we needed.
