Cosy 2 bedroom house down a right of way with awesome views of Hokianga Harbour. Can sleep 8 people with bunks and a fold out double couch in lounge. Washer, dryer and BBQ available onsite. Deck off lounge/dining for those afternoon drinks or evening meals! Easy 3 min walk to water and 5 to 10 min walk to pub, restaurants, fish and chip shop and store in Opononi. Highlights in the area are Waipoua Kauri Forest with largest living Kauri, Tane Mahuta, and Nga Wha Hotsprings in Kaikohe.

Cozy winter stay

The house was spacious and well stocked with everything required for a comfortable stay for our young family. Out 8 year old loved the telescope and the view is amazing.

The place to stay if you want a clean, well-stocked and positioned holiday home.

Enjoyed our stay which was over 5 days. The place was accessible and well-presented and stocked. Even provided salt and pepper, and coffee, milo, etc which was great. The neighbour came over and ran over the drive use. It was unfortunate we had an extra vehicle so had to park it on the road (the place can only accommodate 3 vehicles), nonetheless it was safe. Just one negative really, I found the bed in the master room too hard for my liking (prefer a softer bed). I know next time I go take my topper pad with me. Also went to the wrong address but I think that was my fault for not reading things properly.

Much more than what is advertised.

The owners really do cover all the bases in this gorgeous house/bach and more! Everything you need or have forgotten is at your fingertips, it really is like a home away from home. Perfect base for discovering the beautiful Hokianga, minutes' walk down to the beach, majestic view!! We had the most relaxing break and can not thank you enough for sharing your lovely place with us.

Absolutely beautiful! The property is a perfect lil getaway for 2 couples or a family. So relaxing.

Had a beautiful stay at the property. Carol was easy to communicate with and the quality of the house was gorgeous. The driveway is shared with 3 other small properties as well, so if havibg visitors, juat mention that they park on the main road so the other houses have access as well 😉
