この施設について

The Pink House

This lovely small cottage originally came into my family as a retirment home for my (then) 90 year old mother, Olive. She loved the place except for its original colour and so promptly painted it Pink.

The house has many of her touches still in it, such as the cross stitch pictures framed on the walls.

Nana Olive was well known through Tokoroa for her hospitality and warm welcome she offered at the Pink House, and we are delighted to continue this tradition.

We are located a 2 minute drive, or 10 minute walk from downtown
Tokoroa. There is a small park an easy walk

Lovely house, and it was exactly as per the listing, with no unexpected surprises. Alby was a great host too. Loved the bed in the master bedroom, which was super comfy. Also great to have full sized dining table on the covered deck at the front, meaning you could dine outside (and watch the world go by) even when it was raining.

Clean, tidy, homely, spacious and accommodating for the time we stayed at the pink house. Much appreciation to Alby who made our stay simple and easy while we were able to achieve a calming and relaxing space while dealing with family matters. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking for our next planned visit.

The house was easy to find as it was so distinctive, hard to miss with the pinkness of it. The art work on the walls was lovley as well as the story around the house. The beds were comfy and the house was warm. Thanks for a lovely nights sleep

Some of our staff stay with Alby at the Pink house when we have shutdown work at Kinleith. Everyone loves staying here. Home away from home .

Second time staying here. Ably, the host, is friendly, likeable and very approachable. The house has everything a family requires while away from home right down to a basket full of toys for the kids. Highly recommend.

The pink house was an ideal place to stay for me and my family whilst we attended a wedding close to Tokoroa. The property is ideal for families. The kitchen is well equipped and the property is spacious. In an ideal world there would be a separate toilet and one of the bedrooms had a bunk rather than free standing bed but everyone seemed to find the accommodation to be very comfortable

Charming and convenient

I love that this property feels like im visiting my Gran. Very comfortable and homey. Alby is a great host and very interesting to chat with him about Rotorua history. The location is perfect being less than an hour to Hobbiton, Rotorua and Taupo

Another great stay at the Pink House!

We have been staying at the Pink House regularly as we are helping a friend renovate a house. Alby is always extremely helpful, the house is spotlessly clean, very well equipped and has comfortable beds with lovely linen. We have stayed in many holiday houses and this is one of our favourites. Highly recommend.
