Nestled in a quiet corner of North Myrtle Beach's Cherry Grove community, Carolina Dunes is the perfect family vacation spot. This condo complex boasts a sparkling indoor pool and hot tub for the days that your not enjoying the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean just steps from your condo! Enjoy all of the amenities of home while being able to view the miles of Gorgeous beach from an ocean side balcony.

Carolina Dunes scenic location also puts it only minutes away from many activities that North Myrtle Beach has to offer. A short drive is all it takes to explore endless dining options, enjoy mini golf at any of several themed locations, or go shopping for the perfect vacation mementos at plethora of shopping out lands that the Grand Strand has to offer. Don't feel like driving? Not a problem! Miles of sandy beaches afford the opportunity to enjoy fun in the sun, search for shells or sharks teeth, build sand castles, take a leisurely walk, or even take a sun warmed nap.

This condo, also known as Dolphins Watch 203, is a 2 bedroom condo. The panoramic view of the ocean from the master bedroom will offer memories you'll treasure for years to come. For the days that you feel like staying in doors you are encouraged to utilize both the free Wi-Fi and living room smart TV for entertainment! This condo features all necessary kitchen appliances to make yourself at home and enjoy a meal indoors. It also includes a washing machine and dryer so you can avoid the coin laundry facilities during your stay. Come enjoy your morning coffee with an Ocean Breeze at Dolphins Watch 203, located in Carolina Dunes.

This condo has an indoor pool only.
This property is completely non-smoking (including E-cigarettes and Vape pens)
This property does not allow motorcycles, trailers, or golf carts.
We only rent to families and adults over the age of 25.

If you experience any issues at all during your stay, please call us! 9 out of 10 times we are able resolve your issue over the phone within minutes by directing you to back up supplies, instructions, etc.

Although homes are often equipped with some non-perishable food items, such as sugar, coffee, and spices, we cannot guarantee they will be there. Guests are supplied with a starter set of paper products. Each rental will have 1 roll of toilet tissue per bathroom and 1 paper towel roll in the kitchen. Please come prepared with your own soaps or other needed toiletries such as dish detergent or laundry detergent. Please bring any blankets or towels you plan on using outside (pool or beach).

There is a musty smell throughout the building and out back door. Condo floor needs a good cleaning . Door to patio still broke, semi view. Many repairs and udates need to be done. Great location.

This condo was perfect for our family of 5.We did have a huccup in the beginning. We went to pick up our keys on a Sunday and they were not there. We had our keys in less than 30 mins! Washer and dryer was a plus. I only had 1 load of laundry to do at home. The couch in the living room has been well loved and could probably be updated. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful

The location was fantastic with the ocean right outside your door . The weather was perfect . Many area restaurants to choose from. Kim at rental was great to deal with, check in process was very quick . Will definitely use again

Family Time !

We really enjoyed our time with family! It was in the perfect location! The lady called and talked to us about the pool not working! We had problem with the tv they bought a new one ! We enjoyed each morning at sunny side up grill ! Then relaxed on the beach! Only one rainy day this year so that was nice ! This year was windy 😳! But we still had fun !

Indoor pool was great. Nice location. Not in the middle of everything but also everything was near by. Family oriented. Well equipped. Only negative: They gave an envelope with the key and instructions for departure. The instructions on the fridge and the ones in the email from the place all had varying information. A little confusing.

Good Stay

We had trouble finding the office to get the keys and ended up with an extra hour of driving. I would recommend putting the name of the business in the GPS as two different search engines sent us to the wrong place. They do not provide any cleaning supplies, would recommend bringing your own spray for cleaning countertops, tables, etc. Otherwise, we had a great stay, knowing these two things would have just been helpful for us.

Vacation Property Review

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The beach was beautiful and the condo location was great; however, the overall property looked tired and definitely needs some updates. The actual condo was clean but on Friday afternoon before I was to arrive on Sunday, I was notified there had been a storm and one of the sliders in the main room was broken and these could not be used! Also, a piece of plywood was up which really took away from the view. The “best” that could be done for me was a small refund of 134.00 or I could cancel my reservation and be refunded but no other property was available! Also, there was mold growing in the showerhead of the front bathroom and both showers need new liners. The mattress coverings were spotted and I had to use Clorox wipes on these. Also, even though there was an elevator there were multiple steps everywhere else which was most difficult for my husband with cancer and recovering from a slight stroke. Good luck to the next guest!

I did have to wash the shower curtain in the King bedroom bath, it looked like it had black mold on it, also both bath tubs had sand in them, but we were able to wash them out. The floors needed mopping, I saw a swiffer but no pads, I had to wear socks. There was also a lot of drilling and hammering in the unit above us, sometimes until 7pm. That was a little much. Other that that, which we were able to adapt to, we had a very enjoyable week which we needed very badly.

Overall a good location and clean place to stay.

Every thing was good but we didn’t have enough hot water for two showers. I requested someone to check on this and I was told a plumber would come by but never heard back. Customer service was good other than not having a plumber come out for the hot water. The indoor pool would have been better if half of the roof wasn’t missing. The pool was too cold to use at night because the roof was open and cold temperatures made the water too cold. The hot tub was closed the entire trip as well, so that would have been a nice alternative to the pool.

Not quite as advertised. Great location, great view, but lacking in amenities such as instructions on how to use the TV, a welcome book with information on the apartment, the building, pool rules, etc. Communication with the management company was lacking. 2 phone calls not returned. We had to drive to their office in order to speak to someone. There is great potential in the property, but it’s a “meh” for a visit. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either.

Reviewer Comments: Not to good the sliding door we couldn’t open we called and they already knew but not corrected the problem the toilet was leaking. The walls were dirty the shower curtain in the master were moldy. Honestly I don’t usually complain but it was inconvenient for the other couple not being able to go to the porch until we woke up, for them to come in the master bedroom to enjoy the porch. Also the guest 5 drawer needs some downy sheets it smelled in there. To go to the beach is little steep for older people

Great location

I have stayed in many different units in Carolina Dunes over the past 10 years. The location is great - it's near the end of Cherry Grove, so it's quieter. The Point is nearby. Here are my pros and cons of this particular unit as of May 2023: PROS: -Location! -Ocean front with direct access to beach! -Views from balcony and master bedroom! -Indoor pool and hot tub! *NOTE* as of May 2023, most of the panels over the pool are gone for some reason? So if it rains, it rains into the pool. The water was very warm, but still. -Unit was pretty well stocked with dishes, dish clothes, pots and pans, and silverware. CONS: -Unit was supposed to be stocked with one roll of TP per bathroom and 1 roll of paper towels, but was not. -Sliding glass door to balcony was extremely difficult to close once open. We did report this to the management company, so hopefully it will be resolved, but I don't think this is a new issue. -I know it's not required, but there were no extras in the unit - no hand soap, no local menus, no printed channel guide, no books or magazines to read... There were a few games and some playing cards. I just appreciate units that are a bit more stocked with little things that make a trip easier. -The key pick up/drop off is annoying. Driving 30 minutes RT is not convenient. Would prefer at least to leave keys in unit after checkout.

Ocean view. Noisy rooftop from loose pool rooftop. Disappointed that no mention of the plywood inset in the broken middle window in the patio exit of the balcony door to the beach. No locks to the exits of the master bedroom or the living room or master BR. Had to lock our valuables in the car every time we left the room. Great stay otherwise- lucked out with beautiful weather. Fix the doors and would love to visit again!
