The listing was not fully as advertised. The beds were uncomfortable and had 10 clearance section sheets instead of actual bed sets. The blankets that were provided only fit one person and were not made for the bed so we had to scavenge and purchase blankets for our stay. The blankets that were pictured were not what was provided. The pull out couch was not cleaned and had crumbs all over it. We also found a random child’s shoe under another bed. Whoever is cleaning the cabin either had a bad day or was not doing a thorough job. The shower curtains were not waterproof. We were left plenty of towels but ended up using all of them to try and stop the flooding in the bathroom. The hot water tank runs out after three showers.

We would also like to provide some context for future guests. This is a budget-friendly cabin rental, and the property is priced accordingly. While we always strive to provide a clean and comfortable stay, guests should expect a modest, value-oriented property rather than an upscale or luxury accommodation. Regarding the hot water, the cabin’s water heater is designed for normal usage, and approximately three full showers before the tank needs to reheat is within its expected capacity. For larger groups, showers may need to be spaced out to allow the water heater time to recover. This is a normal limitation of the system and does not indicate that the water heater was malfunctioning. As for the bathroom flooding, the shower curtain is intended to be positioned inside the tub while showering. When properly placed inside the tub, it is designed to keep water from running onto the bathroom floor. We’re sorry if this was not clear during your stay. We also want to point out that a support phone number is posted inside the cabin and was provided in the text messages sent to the guest before and during the stay. Had we been contacted about the bedding, cleaning concerns, bathroom water, or any other issue while the guest was there, we would have had an opportunity to address the concerns promptly. We do take feedback regarding cleanliness and bedding seriously and will continue to review our cleaning and inspection procedures. At the same time, we believe guests should contact us during their stay when an issue arises so that we have the opportunity to make it right. We appreciate the feedback and will continue working to provide a good experience while maintaining the affordable pricing that makes this property a budget-friendly option.

Great kid friendly place!

I took my three small children up to this place for a weekend get away. The kids had a blast in the basement with all the kids toys and coloring activities that were provided. Rustic cabin feel inside which is exactly what we were looking for!

Cabin in the Woods

This property was just perfect for what we needed! It even had a playroom full of toys for the little kids. There were separate spaces for each of us. They were even so thoughtful to provide a very pretty Christmas Tree and a kennel for our dog. Kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed.

Perfect balance of close to everything and remote countryside

This was my first time using VRBO and I am so happy I did. The property was exactly as described on the website, it was far enough out to town to get the county cabin vibe but not so far that it made it difficult to get to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, The property had ample parking for multiple vehicles with helpful outside lighting for late arrivals. We even saw a bear just down the road when we were driving into Pigeon Forge. Management was very responsive with any questions, I would definately stay at another property of theirs.

Great place overall

The booking and check-in process was easy. They reaponded quickly to our questions ahead of time and emailed us important information. One of the toilets needed a repair, which they took care of quickly. The cabin looked great, with nice decor. We saw a couple bugs and dog hair. My sheet had a small stain. There were 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and plenty of couch space for others to sleep on.

Cute Cabin, Okay Stay

The cabin was nice might need some upgrades. The cleanliness was not the best. It was a pet friendly cabin but there was dog hair everywhere with a little one that didn’t go great. Also, some pillow cases and the table cloth had not been changed. They were dirty. Over all it was okay for a couple of days.

Upon arrival there was a slight problem that had been overlooked by the cleaning crew. A quick. call to Jason, he had the crew back. Problem fixed before we were unpacked. Also during our stay. We have a power outage. It was because a branch fell in the power lines somewhere. Once the power company has the problem fixed. Jason came over to reset all electronic devices.Our family if 5 had an enjoyable stay. Did I boot camp anymore?
