Willoah’s Retreat has it all! It is a spectacular private waterfront property with stunning water views and unbeatable beach frontage accessible from the doorstep.

A stylishly renovated home with all the creature comforts for a fantastic holiday with ocean and direct views of The Hazards, a cedar sauna, and a direct path to a white sandy beach, a delightful wood fire (available from May to September only), a chef’s kitchen with butler’s pantry, a great outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven and stunning views from almost every corner of the house.

Willoah’s Retreat is the perfect place for large families and groups of friends wanting to enjoy a secluded getaway.

The house showcases an entertainment area suitable for kids or adults, with a games corner for the youngest travellers, a teepee tent, a trampoline and a great jungle gym in the back garden for a holiday packed with fun.

Adults can enjoy their favourite program or movie on a large-screen smart TV, free internet, a great pool table, a comfortable massage chair, a standing bathtub and top-quality mattresses and bedding.

Willoah’s Retreat is set amongst a private stretch of Nine Mile beach, located in Dolphin Sands. It overlooks the famous Hazards Mountain Range in Freycinet National Park, the home of Wineglass Bay and Schouten Island.

You can enjoy the white sandy beach for a walk, swimming, fishing or just relaxing in the sun. The house has been mindfully renovated to draw your eyes out to the stunning views.

Willoah’s Retreat can accommodate up to ten people, and it is ideal for couples or a large family wanting to create wonderful bonding memories.

There are several wineries and Melshell Oyster Shack is just down the road. There are also many other local attractions for those wishing to explore the surroundings.

The wood fire can only be used from May to September.



Please note: there has been recent fire activity in the surrounding area. While the home itself was not impacted and remains fully operational, guests may notice some evidence of fire-affected vegetation nearby.

We had a brilliant stay at Willoahs. The house is very comfortable, spacious and clean. Loved the well equipped kitchen and the amazing view. Lovely garden too, complete with a path to the beach metres away!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Willoah. The house met all our expectations, plus more!Kitchen had everything you could possibly need, bedrooms were large and comfortable. The location was very private and remote, yet within a short drive of the Swansea shopping area and numerous local wineries. The view from the living area was sensational!The house was clean and very well appointed. The backyard area would have been excellent for children (had we been travelling with them).All in all we could not fault this property and wiould happily return and recommend it to others.

Winter getaway

Was a lovely place great open kitchen and lounge for a group, wish the sauna got a bit hotter than 35 was looking forward to a dip in the sea then a hot sauna

Five Star Property

Hands down the BEST house we have ever stayed in. Everything you could ever think of needing was there. The views were to die for, and we loved spending our late afternoons on the beach, with not a soul to be seen! We would 100% return to this beautiful home. Our favourite stop in Tasmania

Nice spot

This property is Great Only downfall was that i had thought i had got a property with a hot tub to relax in of an afternoon as i didnt read to the bottom of the description stating that the hot tub is currently not available to guests. Hot tub needs to be taken off the amenities if guests are not able to use it. Other than that this place is great. Beautiful outlook and has everything you would ever need plus more. Very relaxing spot

Overall ok.

Pretty nice place and great access to beach. We booked to ensure we had a spa. Which was out of order. I had to call and was told i would be called back. This did not occur so i recalled. They pro ider gave us one night off accom. However, had we known we just would of booked a place in Bicheno; instead because of facilities we booked here and then did not have all the facilities and drove into Bicheno daily (40mins). Otherwise place was nice. Baby gate is broken so safety issue to some extent on stairs.

From the moment we arrived at Willoah Retreat, we were captivated by the breathtaking surroundings. Nestled in a picturesque setting, the house offered not only stunning views but also an atmosphere of serene tranquility that made our holiday truly memorable. The house itself was a delight. Every room was beautifully appointed, blending style with comfort. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings spoke volumes about the care the owners take to ensure a welcoming and luxurious environment. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook and enjoy our meals, which added a lovely touch of homeliness. Our days were spent exploring the beautiful surroundings and enjoying the peaceful ambiance of the house.
