Welcome to Sunny Canal. This beautiful three-bedroom canal front home is located on the North end of Fort Myers Beach and is a quick walk to the beach. Walking into the living area guests are greeted with a wall of sliding glass doors filtering the area with natural light. A cozy living area features two sofa sleepers, flat screen TV, and picturesque views of the canal. Whip up a delicious dinner in the evenings in the fully equipped kitchen. Open the sliding glass doors and choose to eat at the inside dining table, the outdoor table on the lanai, or both. The lanai is screened for extra comfort. The main level also includes a queen bedroom, full bathroom, and laundry. Up the spiral staircase to the third floor guests will find another queen bedroom, full bathroom, and the primary suite. The primary suite offers a king bed, large en suite, and a private balcony. Perfect location for your morning coffee. The balcony includes another spiral staircase to a small rooftop deck. Venturing to the ground floor there is a large pool, spill over spa, plenty of outdoor seating, and a bar with TV. Bring or rent kayaks and paddleboards to launch off the dock to make the most of the location. Sunny Canal is the perfect vacation home for the outdoor enthusiast.

Area Activities:

Welcome to Fort Myers Beach! There are multiple state parks nearby that are waiting for your adventures. Jump on the trolley to take you south to the secluded Lover's Key State Park or go north to Bowditch Point Park. The Fish Tale Marina offers boat rentals and dockage for those wanting to get out on the water. Travel around the island in style in a rented Moke or golf cart. Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. Several restaurants, shops, and bars have come back since the hurricane. If a day trip is what you are looking for check out the Key West Express for an unforgettable trip to Key West. Don’t forget to see Sanibel Lighthouse which is less than 15 miles away! Please note that the area is currently rebuilding after Hurricane Ian. Despite the changes, the island continues to get better and better, inviting you to bask in the sun, sand, and amazing sunsets once again. Awesome stay!

Great access to the beach and restaurants! Many are within walking distance. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub! Would stay here again!

Pool was green for two days so we were unable to use it till Monday! The stairs in the house were really hard for my disabled husband ! They should have an elevator for luggage etc. The spiral staircase is ridiculously , very hard for seniors to manage ! The kitchen utensils are sparse and cheap, The property’s location was very close to the beach and restaurants which was convenient. The living room furniture was very dirty, also were the rugs and the patio furniture. The master bed room’s TV was not working properly and you have to climb into the tub to use the shower which also was very hard for my husband. I have stayed in many rentals in Florida over the years and this house was NOT one of the Better ones, especially for how expensive it was for one week and the fact the pool was green and unable to use for two days and my Grandchildren could not use it was very disappointing! We really would not recommend this property to anyone as there are so many nicer homes for the Money !!!!

We loved our time at this house! We spent our family vacation here for a week. It was our first time traveling with our new grandson so we wanted a vacation location where things were conveniently located and we could stay busy right where we were. The pool and nearby restaurants made this the perfect option! The pool was or favorite for sure. Covered shady lounge area when needed and plenty of Florida sun too. The umbrellas around the pool wer also helpful. The decks off the living areas made for great game nights and relaxing morning coffee. We loved our stay!

great location!

this house is in a great location. The only thing I would change is for it to be a little more cleaner. The couches and area rug looks like they need a good cleaning, but other than that, it was a great place.

Stairs all over this property, like we are talking 3 flights. The pool was cool, the location was great. The area has been affected by hurricanes and still rebuilding and I hate to say the beach is muddy and not very nice. I had to hunt for and ask for help finding the laundry area. It’s outside on the patio. Beds and overall home was good it’s just choppy since it’s two story.

Winter get away

We were very appreciative that we were able to get in the house an hour early after a long day of travel. House was very clean and plenty of room for the 5 of us. Loved the pool area and just a short walk to the beach. The wagon with the beach chairs were great to have for the stay.

Don’t miss this one!

This property could not have been any more perfect for our group! We loved how close it was to everything, and we barely had to use our rental car all week. The neighborhood itself was quiet, and the pool was perfect for us sun seekers. The beach chairs on the property are upright only and do not lay flat, but the fact that they have a wagon to pull them to the beach more than made up for it. We will definitely be staying at this property again.

What a weekend

We had such a wonderful time staying at this home. The location was perfect and the home fit all of our needs. It was a short walk to the beach and other bars. The pool was amazing as well. The only thing was the door you enter the home too was getting stuck at times making it difficult to get inside, having to go up to the third floor to enter the home. Other than that it was amazing! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in fort myers beach!

Property could use some upgrades. HVAC is unbalanced with some areas cold and some warm. Overall craftsmanship is substandard. Did not think property had been cleaned very well as glass table in dining area was all smudged up when we got there.

Girls Trip

Everything was great except the only access to the upstairs which has 2 of the bedrooms was the spiral staircase. Looked like there was an elevator at one time but was out of service. We are 50yrs and older so that was a little inconvenient. The pool was not clean and was green for the last 3 days we were there. Management was very nice and apologetic. They sent out the maintenance person to fix the hot water in one shower and put chemicals in the pool, but the chemicals didn't seem to help. We were ready for the beach anyway so wasn't a big deal. The shower was a quick fix and worked great afterwards. We also had access to 3 more showers so we were not upset. Even though there were some minor issues it was a great rental. Awesome location, Very clean and pretty. We had a Great time. You might want to get a new pool guy though.
