The property was disgustingly filthy and run down. The toilets would not flush and overflowed 4 times before we quit using them. A blind person must have painted the place with paint splashed on the electrical outlets, carpet and trim. The fron door lock was so poorly secred that we had no security for our family. We were threatened by the host 4 days before our stay, that we would be fined 300 if we peed in tbe pool, and that we would be fined 90 if we dirtied his grill. We were also warned of a bear and wildlife issue with the trash, but were told to put garbage out each day in the plastic garbage cans. We did so, and had to clean up a nasty mess on our 6th day. The bear visited and tossed trash everywhere. There should have been a secure dumpster provided, especially when the host warned us it would happen. The furniture was filthy and worn. The patio furniture cushions were piled in the corner all soaked and stinking. We could not sit on the patio. Other than weeds everwhere and worn out pool furniture, the pool was clean and nice. The batroom fixtures were rusted and the entire home was the quality of a diuble wide. The house was full of large spiders. I will be filing a formal complaint with VRBO. Also, we were told that towels were provided. The main bath had three dollar store towels of three different colors, and we had 12 people staying there. The second bathroom had 3 towels as well. Please note, we didnt contact the host because he was so threatening.
