This VRBO Rental was a home away from home, the best part it had a POOL! Which we don't have. The hosts Guy and Melissa are fabulous full of information about the area. They let us know what was going on and where and at what time. This is a place we will return to.Thanks Guy and Melissa.

It was a very nice stay in Muskoka. The basement suite was large with two very large rooms. The back room with no windows got a little stuffy, but it was dark enough that any light sleeper would enjoy it. The raised living area was the central hangout of our stay. We certainly appreciated the helpful from the hosts in terms of events and things to see. We also enjoyed the breakfast snacks. I believe my daughter downed all the small chips and cereal boxes within two days. The pool hours were perfect. The little chipmunk that kept trying to visit was also a highlight.

Perfect getaway

An escape from the city Quiet beautiful neighbourhood Hosts are amazing! Place is perfect, lots of space, everything you need Backyard is beautiful with a private pool. Definitely recommend you stay here.

Winter wonderland

We visited when Gravenhurst had been gifted with an unusual amount of snow and we enjoyed the winter experiences the area offers. This place was a perfect home base during our time, warm and spacious with room for the family. Breakfast food items were a delight. We'll have to come back in the summer some time :)

Everything was excellent!! The house was very cute, more spacious than it looked in pictures. And the hosts were welcoming, lots of choices for breakfast. Great experience!

Relaxing stay in Gravenhurst

Guy and Melissa were great hosts, the location is close to everything needed in Muskoka and the backyard property is large and peaceful. They load the kitchen up with all kinds of snacks and breakfast foods, it was great. Guy was quick with any and all communication, was happy to answer any questions and offered anything he could to make the stay pleasant. Thank you for a great week!

Muskoka Getaway

It was a very nice location! The house is really comfortable has everything you need, even games to play at night! The house was very clean and the pool was nice and clean as well as the bbq. We had a blast! We will book again for sure. The owner is very friendly and was always available to answer any questions we have. I really recommend this place!!

Great family memories

We were able to get our family together for a quick family weekend vacation. This place offered everything we needed to spend quality time together. Guy and Melissa were very hospitable and quick to offer help and suggestions. We will definitely keep this on our favourite list.

Relaxing and spacious

We stayed while at a wedding in the area. The place was exactly how is was advertised! Guy and Melissa greeted us when we arrived. My daughter loved the pool! Beautiful yard. Quiet area in Gravenhurst. Perfect for relaxing. We would stay again.

We needed more time!

Great location. Great Host. Unfortunately as always we didn't get much time to enjoy th elocation due to committments. Host tracked us down to get us a charger we forgot. Talk about first class service!

Great location in beautiful quiet neighbourhood

We had two levels of the house with separate entrance to ourselves. Kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials and the fridge was stocked with drinks, breakfast food, fruits etc. They thought of everything. The backyard is huge and includes the pool, cornhole, bbq and fire pit. The hosts were very accommodating and even helped us start the fire pit since we don't have much experience in such things. Lol Would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the Gravenhurst area!

Home away from home

Our family was in the area for a work/family vacation. This place was a great place to "come home to" after a long day working or out sight seeing. Many things to keep everyone entertained while there. Our kids especially enjoyed the corn hole game and of course, the pool. My only suggestion would be to bring along kitchen supies if planning on coming many meals. (Mixing bowls, casserole dishes/platters, spatulas, etc). Lots of dishes supplied though. Was a lovely place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Guy & Melissa

Great stay in Gravenhurst

We came to Gravenhurst to golf at Taboo golf course and stayed at Guy’s place for two nights. His place was centrally located to the main strip and beaches alike (within a 5 minute drive). The backyard area including a seating area with fire pit and pool was an oasis. We especially appreciated the extra touches of snacks, breakfast food and cold drinks in the fridge when we arrived. Guy’s place was spacious and comfortable as well. He also communicated frequently with us and provided suggestions about local things to do and see. The only thing we would improve is the mattress in the double bed room because it was lacking support and a bit saggy. Overall, this place was ideal for our stay in Muskoka.

gravenhurst rental

it was great. the hosts were terrific. our only issues were the door was locked when one of our party arrived. he had to sit in his car for 1-1/2 hours til i arrived and contacted the hosts. the door was supposed to be unlocked but wasn't. our other issue, no fault of hosts for sure, were the stairs. otherwise it was idealic and lovely outdoor setting for sitting out and enjoying the weather.

Fire alarm going off for hours, no sleep.

The place is great and in a beautiful neighbourhood. Unfortunately, the owner does not communicate well. The fire alarm in their half of the property went off at 4am and when informed he did nothing to resolve the issue. Did not call or text back. We had to listen to the alarm for hours, very annoying and we barely got any sleep.

Girls weekend getaway

A friend and I recently stayed here for a girls weekend in Gravenhurst. Two quiet 50 yr olds lol. Accommodations were lovely. Clean. Very spacious. On two levels (ground level and lower level). Comfy beds. Kitchen was well equipped minus a dishwasher. Only a keurig coffee maker so bring pods (no drip coffee maker). Nice Weber bbq. Enjoyed the pool and quiet back yard. Pool hours are posted but the owners were away so we were told to enjoy it anytime which was nice. Pool was clean and lit up at night. Owners reside on other half, upper two levels of home. My bf works in town and was going to stop by after work to say hi but visitors aren’t allowed even for a couple of hours (obviously not overnight) we were told due to insurance reasons. Parking for two vehicles if needed. We didn’t meet the owners but good communication when needed. Doors were unlocked upon arrival. Key was left inside. Good wifi. Great location, quiet neighborhood. Close to Muskoka beach. We would recommend this to others and would stay here again. Thank you.
