Bienvenue! NEW for 2026 - Your own private studio for artists, writers, meditation, yoga, etc. This private beachfront home is a year-round beauty. Direct access to a quaint private beach. Fantastic water and sunrise views. Fishing, swimming, bird-watching. Day trips to three 3 national parks including Fundy, Kouchibouguac and Prince Edward Island. 40 minutes to Confederation Bridge and another 10 minutes to Prince Edward Island. Very fast fibre optic internet, TV with Bell cable channels, mini-split heat and air conditioning, large deck overlooking private beach and ocean. Fully stocked kitchen with full size fridge, stove/oven, microwave and dishwasher. New beds, linens, towels. 5 minutes to groceries, restaurants, seafood, bakery, banks, coffee shops, pharmacies, library, hiking and biking trails, and much more. Nous parlons le français!

Everything was perfect. Great location. The private beach is perfect for sun bathing, swimming and looking for sea glass. Will be back for sure.

We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay at this propertyThe cottage is clean and comfortable. The sea view is unbeatable with beautiful sunrises. You can also witness breathtaking sunsets a short stroll away. Claire was always available is we had any questions or needed anything.

A wonderful vacation!

The location is fantastic and the cottage is beautifully built and fully equipped - really everything you could possibly need or want for a wonderful vacation. We loved the beach especially.

Property was as advertised, with the ocean at our finger tips. Accomodations were clean and well furnished, with practically wall to wall windows overlooking the ocean. Our hosts, Claire and Martin, were marvelous and very attentive to our needs.For seafood lovers, great fried clams and fresh lobster, crabb and scallops were less than twenty minutes away, which we took full advantage of.We look forward to returning.

Oceanfront getaway

The cottage is very tastefully decorated and very homey. Beautiful oceanfront views. Cottage had everything needed to feel like a home away from home. Little touches like shampoo, conditioner, coffee, tea, etc., were welcome and thoughtful. Would recommend this lovely cottage to anyone wanting a New Brunswick oceanside experience.

Great fall getaway

What an amazing place in a beautiful part of New Brunswick. My wife and I decided to try this cottage after visiting many other areas in on the east coast. What an amazing property in a beautiful part of Acadia. The cottage is RIGHT on the water and we got to enjoy the sunshine on the deck, watching the lobster boats going in and out, many sea birds, fished right in front of the cottage and even saw a seal a few times. The hosts were amazing and were able to easily answer all our questions. You won't be disappointed if you book !

Cape Pele Adventure

The property is a fantastic location facing east with lots of windows for an amazing view of the North Cumberland Strait, sunrises and Prince Edward Island on the horizon! Not to mention allowing lots of ventilation without the need of the A/C. The welcome binder provided was very well presented with lots of information on the cottage its and events in the surrounding area and community! Very informative. Claire and Martin, were Mathis. Welcoming and very helpful responding to our questions quickly and efficiently

Amazing Place to Stay!

We had such a fantastic time at Claire's place by the sea in Cap-Pelé! Such a perfect setting and basically your own private beach! The house was great and the setting couldn't be better. Claire & her husband were wonderful hosts! They were a perfect mix of being very attentive to anything we needed, but at the same time giving us the space & privacy we like. There is a fire pit that we desperately wanted to use, but the timing & weather never cooperated which was sad. We also cooked a meal at the house & we had everything we needed. Also restaurants & a grocery store are very near by. Claire texted me after we left that I had managed to leave my sweatshirt back at the house. She was so kind to mail it back to me, thanks again Claire! If we make it back to the area again soon we will absolutely stay here.

Une superbe vue dont on ne se lasse jamais!

Quel beau petit repère dans notre beau pays! Un chalet parfait pour notre couple qui avait besoin de paix et de tranquillité. Bien équipé et tout bien pensé pour être confortable. Tout y était et que dire des hôtes si attentionnés et qui nous ont charmés par leurs petites attentions. It's used as a guest house for family and friends and other visitors who are looking for a unique waterfront peaceful location. We've rented VRBOs and try to make this one safe, complete with many amenities, and comfortable.
