nice view but pity about the rest
We spent 4 days in Pambula Beach at this property. The location is on the cliff so views are great. But this house is so dirty and uncared for that it cast a shadow over our stay, knowing that after enjoying the beautiful outdoor we had to return to it. It is dog friendly which probably accounts for the piles of blond hair under the furniture. The kitchen is not fully equipped; there is no dishwasher which I don't mind but it means that your dishes are only as clean as the last visitors left them. The 2 frypans were covered with the evidence of the last 30 year of use. The bathroom is unfit for human use because of the black mould on the ceiling and window frames and the not working extraction fan above the shower which is totally covered in years of dust and mould. Not nice to have a shower wondering if a chunk of yuk will land on your head. The screen on the window in the toilet is also thick with dust and a health hazard. There is nothing in the house which indicates that the owners hope that the visitors have a good stay, not even a small gesture such as a bottle of nice hand wash. We called the agent who offered to send us a cleaner but we did not take up this offer as the house needs an industrial size clean. The info about the house indicates that there is a ceiling fan in the main bedroom but there is not, and there could not possibly ever be because it would be so low it would cut your head off.
