Queenslander apartment with plenty of space and very tropical.Sleeps six people.

Own entrance with code. Upstairs of a traditional Queenslander apartment with Tasey oak timber floors and rosewood timber spacious kitchen with all the pots and pans to make a lovely meal . Both bedrooms have king size beds. King bedroom is spacious with a sofa bed for a extra two people. T.V and a spa bath for two. Queen bedroom has mountain view, double doors to the deck ,own bathroom and plenty of room.
It is a full apartment with an outside patio that goes right along the back looking over the pool, dining table and plenty of sitting areas. .There are three apartments on the property that share the Pool which is magnificent with lovely greenery around. The owner lives in the house out the back. Nice and quiet area. Cafe,restaurants, bowls club and cafes 6 minutes walk away, shopping, botanical Gardens , hiking tracks, mountains view’s and Cairns city is 5km away. Bus stop is around the corner !

The apartment was comfortable, well equipped, and nicely decorated. The little pool was delightful. There were laundry facilities, which we appreciated. The host were very helpful.

We were busy everyday as there is so much to do in Cairns. Went for a glass bottom boat tour, did the train tour and also a half day bus tour around town. Went to see the Egyptian Exhibition and the Aquarium. Weather was great too!!

Thanks, Craig. We really enjoyed our stay. You were always available when needed. It would have been good to know that one of the flats is upstairs and one downstairs. I don't remember seeing that on the advert. I was a bit surprised to find that our flat was upstairs when we got there. The flat looked clean and amazing, though. Thank you.

My family and I had a great time at this property. The owners are lovely and accommodated our specific requests. The pool was a hit with the kids and the apartment was lovely and spacious. The location was very convenient for both accessing the city and the airport and there was a lovely bakery around the corner. My family and I would definitely stay again.

A beautiful family vacation up north

We had a wonderful stay in the property upstairs, and our family loved our time there. Spacious, breezy, a thoughtful blend of convenience and charm. The pool is a beauty (if a touch cool yo swim in July), but a gorgeous space to unwind in a tropical afternoon. Located about 10-15 minutes drive from Cairns CBD, the property is best accessed by car or taxi. Recommended for families or a couple. We will be back for sure.

Lovely stay in Cairns

My family and I stayed at this property and had a wonderful time! It is lovely and airy for when it's hot and the pool is deliciously cool to relax in. Cairns lagoon and downtown is only a few minutes away. Would definitely stay again!

Salt water and fresh water adventure in Cairns

This abode became our home away from home in an instant. Great layout, quiet and near a bakery and supermarket. Our hosts were immediately responsive to any request we had and made some great suggestions for local restaurants. For me the highlight was the swimming pool, which is so like a natural rock pool, it's a work of art. Highly recommend.

Cairns Oasis

Plenty of room to relax in with good facilities available bbq, pool etc. Handy to all places to visit be it the botanical gardens or downtown after a short drive. Most tour bus pick ups just down the road and a great coffee shop just around the corner.

Great accommodation

We had a relaxing stay in this well appointed beautiful house. The host is friendly and attentive. He responded promptly to all my communications. The house is spacious and comfortable. King beds were very comfy. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing.

Terrible Experience

The Host was terrible. Very unprofessable. He got are check in day wrong. Wasnt there to meet us on timeThe Host let his dogs swim in the pool, in the welcome book it said no dogs in the poolNo glass in the pool. The Host drank beer ( glass bottle.) In the poolHouse was unscreened, you couldnt open the windows with out bugs coming inThe Hist didnt inform us there was an extra charge for a small dog...60 a day, we feel we were ripped offThe Host said there was parking for 2 cars but wanted us to move the cars. The Host accused us of bleaching the pillow cases and wanted a fee for sheets & pillow cases.We didnt do Any WashingIt was ment to be a relaxing week, what a jokeThe Host also wanted the air- con off when we went out. So are dog fried.My husband & I had a horrible experience & stay hereThe Host charged us an extra 440 for the week for are dog but the people downstair didnt get an extra charge for there doganywasWashing ??tcareAir-con had to be turned off

Pleasant, safe, family friendly.

We stayed here for two nights, home is beautiful, owners are lovely. We rented the second story and had heaps of privacy. The ground level had another apartment or 2, a beautiful swimming pool with a pair of friendly doggies joining in for a swim and play, but if you don't like dogs they are happy to remove them from the common area. We had an unexpected electrical issue which was promptly resolved by a friendly local electrician. Overall it was a wonderful stay, a great place to host friends or family with some entertainment available such as books, board games, playing cards and tv! So much fun that our kids didn't want to leave!

Perfectly appointed, clean and lovely suburb

Craig met us on arrival and showed us around the apartment. Very tastefully decorated and well appointed with everything you would need. Extremely comfortable, clean and luxurious. Security was also well thought out. Pet friendly felt like home. 5 stars!

Best part of our Aussie vacation so far

Room was Well kept and clean.pool was very pleasant. Owners very informative on what to do and where to go. We were able to see wallobies on the Helo pad. They like apples and carrots. The beaches were clean and tidy and very refreshing.A stay at the Tropical Palms was well worth the visit..

Nice and quiet with mountain views.Plenty of birds singing. Not far from the city of Cairns and airport . One of the better suburbs to live in . Cairns.

Tropical and Very private property. King beds and own bathrooms . King beds in every room. Mountain views, Lovely gardens with a beautiful pool and night lighting.
If you want the lights on in pool please let me know. Water fall, wind chimes and birds in the background singing away.
