Ok house

House was clean. Kitchen fully equipped. No driveway. Not the best of neighborhoods. Towels and sheets could be upgraded. Need TV instructions.

Good location

The property was in a good location & security cameras helped with security along with inside security system. Management & check in information didn't say there was an alarm system inside & no code to turn it off was provided until I called them while alarm was set off (code was on paper on wall, but couldn't see in the dark). A extermination to get rid of small spiders is needed. They did provide coffee & filters. The towels & linens are o.k. The shower is slipper & needs anti-slip mat. Overall a good stay.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- Thank you for contacting us for the alarm code. We were happy to walk you through the steps and point out that we do have a big sign next to the alarm to provide instructions for our guests when they first arrive. However, we will also add these detailed instructions to the pre-stay emails we send our guests. - We apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay. Since the home is surrounded by nature, pests can be found in the area and occasionally enter if doors or windows are left open, however, we do have ongoing pest control that manages and protects the home from these issues and your concerns have been addressed.- We want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take the cleanliness and safety of our property seriously. I’ll place two new mats in the shower so our future guests will be comfortable. Thank you for sharing your valuable feedback with us. - We hope you keep us in mind for your future travels. We’d love to host you the next time you visit. Your feedback assists us in understanding our guests' perspectives and improving wherever possible. Thank you for sharing your review!

Different perspectives

I want to first say that when the local owner/manager was contacted, they did respond quickly and came to clean a few things.I feel like a thorough cleaning would have been the best solution.I still had to clean the shower before we used it. The property was not clean.The toilet and shower were filthy.To me it seems as if in between guests instead of a deep clean, it’s more like a quick wipe down. The floors had not been cleaned. There was dried on food, sauces etc on the cabinet fronts. Hair and grease on the backsplash The futon had greasy hand prints. The comforters are old, stained, faded and have lent pieces from towels stuck to them. I would bring my own towels too if you are to stay here. The two towels, hand towel, and six washcloths are not absorbent and leave so much lent on your body. The shower head is strong, but you can only have it at one angle as it is rather large. The shower leaks, so the floor gets soaked. The bathroom door handles are closet door handles so they do not lock.If you are under 5’8, you will have a hard time using the small bathroom mirror. As for the location, the street this rental is located on is not as safe feeling as some would want. We stay in vacation rentals whenever we travel and have for years. This is the first time I’ve ever had a negative experience Not a great experience this trip.

We greatly appreciate your feedback, and we would like to share some insights from the homeowner: -We apologize for any discomfort experienced during your stay. Please be aware that we prioritize our guests' security and privacy. The concern raised by the guest pertained to a small issue they noticed on the wall and a misunderstanding regarding the outside camera receiver. We want to assure you that there are no cameras inside the house, as we respect our guests' privacy. We immediately addressed this matter by dispatching a crew who resolved the issues within ten minutes. The property is located within the Tulsa University area, benefiting from 24-hour security. Following that occurrence, we have welcomed numerous guests to this property, and none of them have encountered any issues of a similar nature.-The comforters at the property are only eleven months old, and the entire house underwent a complete renovation from the ground up a year ago. This renovation included brand-new showers, electrical and plumbing systems, appliances, furniture, and various other upgrades to enhance the guest experience.-We were in constant communication with the guest and promptly addressed the issues they raised within a thirty-minute turnaround after receiving their text messages.We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
