Welcome to Papa Bear’s Mountain Lodge—a brand-new, luxurious cabin rented by Mountain Time Cabin Rentals. Perfect for unforgettable family reunions, church retreats, and weddings—this 6000 sq ft mountain retreat with a 1000 sq ft outdoor covered pavilion offers breathtaking mountain views and endless fun for everyone.

8 Spacious Bedrooms & 9 Bathrooms—7 king suites with en-suite bathrooms and 1 bunk room with 2 queen bunks and en-suite bathroom. All rooms have 42” flat-screen TVs.

The Location, space and layout of cabin and view from the deck were outstanding! We had some cleanliness issues, but they were addressed immediately and we received a prompt response, which was very appreciated.. Pretty neighborhood and nice and centrally located.

Our stay at Papa Bear lodge was great. We were traveling as a family of 10 with children from age 3-16. The pool provided plenty of entertainment along with the arcade games and movie area. The space was large and the kitchen had plenty of plates, etc. The staff was helpful when we contacted them with questions/needs.

The Whites Family Vacation

You can’t go wrong staying at Papa Bears Mountain Lodge. Everything you need is there. The amenities were amazing and my family made use of all of them. The location is near everything we wanted to do. We’ll definitely be back.

House was fabulous for our family of 21 adults plus one little. High chair was a plus for the little one. We did have a couple of minor maintenance issues which were immediately addressed. So happy a second refrigerator had been added to the property. Couldn’t have done it without it. Having an ice machine and the coffee bar/liquor bar was huge for our group. Bonus, We even had two bears visit our front porch. The blackstone and grill were awesome for several of our dinners. The outdoor pavilion had enough room and seating for all of us. (Fans out there would be a great addition). Great views. We would definitely come back again to this property

Family Vacation

Plenty of amenities, beautiful views. Hot tub was dirty upon arrival, they sent someone out next day to clean it. Wasn’t warm enough to use until next day, still did not appear clean. Chose not to use it. Great pool and outdoor area. Cabin had a lot of dust under furniture. Needs a deep clean. Family enjoyed spaciousness

Great Time in the Smokies

This is a new cabin, everything was great and the pavillion was the hangout most of the time with the gas grill and gas griddle we could cook almost everything outside.. We had 18 family members so it could have used another refrigerator but we made it work. We will most definitely return.

Great location for large get together

We had 15 people stay on the property and never felt like we were short on space. There are so many places for people to gather and hangout. The downstairs game room and theater room kept us entertained. The hot tub and pool were also great additions. The pool was very clean but a little cooler than we were expecting. The house was also very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and the showers always had hot water. The neighborhood was fairly quiet but you could hear some nearby parties here and there, it wasn’t enough to distract us from the AMAZING view! This cabin definitely had the best view in the neighborhood. We also were able to go for afternoon walks around the neighborhood and really enjoyed the scenery. Overall this was an amazing stay and we would highly recommend!

Terrific time in Tennessee

Papa Bear's Mountain Lodge was perfect. We had a family of 15 from age 2 to seniors. The house was in great shape, had a terrific view and everything we needed. The covered patio was perfect for us - we cooked at home 4 nights and ate on the porch every night. The games were a hit with the kids. The indoor pool was a great amenity and was well used. The hot tub as well. Location was great - we were able to get to everything we wanted to do without having to spend much time on busy highways. Highly recommend it!

Smoky Mountain Vacation

The cabin was just right for my family. The gameroom in the basement and the 4 ft deep pool were both a huge his for the kids (ages 6-10). Two refrigerators were helpful as was the extra ice maker. Our location was a bit farther of a drive for most of the things we wanted to do and of course the traffic was horrible but nothing you can do about that.Bees on the second floor deck were worrisome but did not bother us. The reoccurring racoon on the deck was entertaining but after a couple of days he didn't return. We saw a bear! peering into the pavilion from the street but he moseyed on up the road.There is a tile in front of the stove which needs repaired.

Perfect cabin!

Our large, extended family of 14 people had an absolutely perfect stay in this cabin! The huge rooms each with their own bathrooms were a great set up, the shared spaces were large, comfortable, and plentiful (living room, game room, dining room, balcony, pavilion…). The house was impeccably clean. The two refrigerators were fantastic to have. We cooked several meals and had everything we needed. No shortage of dishes, silverware, glasses, pots/pans. Can’t say enough good things about this place. We travel in a group of 14-20 e Rey summer and always stay in large rental houses - this was the best one we’ve ever stayed at in terms of set up for a large group. The location was nice, great views, quiet neighborhood. You do need to expect 30-60 min drive to all area attractions, but this is just typical for the area with the mountain roads and how there’s so much to do that is so spread out. Our couple of questions to the host were quickly responded to. They were a pleasure to work with. We all left with hopes of going back again soon!

Great Cabin for Family Vacation

Papa Bears Mountain Lodge is an outstanding property for a family vacation. We had 13 family members with us and the home was spacious enough for us all with plenty to do. We enjoyed the big open and well stocked kitchen, large dining table, spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms, large outdoor patio, the ice maker, the basement games (especially the real Off Road racing game from the 90s!), the warm private pool, and the incredible balcony views. The 6 kids (ages 5-15) in our group were never bored. We stayed during Thanksgiving and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make a big holiday meal. The only things that weren’t ideal were that the pool was a bit too shallow for older kids and the memory foam mattresses were too firm for our liking… but we understand that is personal preference and in no way did it negatively impact our stay. The property managers were kind and very responsive. We highly recommend this cabin and would definitely book again!

Superb Accommodations

The first thing is…wow! We were blown away with this cabin! Beautifully laid out with plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was stocked with anything and everything we needed. The game room was a bit hit with the kids as was the pool. The pool was a little cool for the adults but the kids didn’t seem to mind. They wanted to swim every chance we let them. The bedrooms were spacious and having a full bathroom in each was very convenient. The black stone grill was used a couple of times. I now want one! As for the view. We’ve never stayed anywhere with a better view of Mt. LeConte. You could also see Ober, Gatlinburg when the clouds weren’t low. Overall, this was a fabulous stay that I would recommend to anyone with a big family or gathering. I will definitely look for this cabin again to rent for our next family holiday!

This brand new build has a private heated indoor pool with fun multi-colored lights. Outdoors there are two large decks with multiple rocking chairs and a porch swing all facing the Smoky Mountains. The most unique aspect of this cabin is the large, covered, park like pavilion complete with corn hole! We have expanded the kitchen area to include a coffee bar and huge dining table big enough for your group. The game room has reclining seats in front ot the 75 inch smart tv, a pool table, dualing racing games and a multicade. We have added one bunk bedroom with two queen bunks for those who want to have a fun shared space. This is perfect for family gatherings, couple's retreats, church groups and reunions.
