Perfect Little Get Away

We were welcomed by the gentle sound of the creek and the sweet smells of a clean and cozy cabin. Judy was attentive to all of our needs. The kids loved looking for salamanders and crawfish under rocks by the creek and roasting marshmallows by the camp fire. I loved laying in the hammock reading my book, while my husband fished the creek. On the cold day and night we enjoyed a fire inside nestled on the couch watching one of the hundreds of available movies. The master bath was better than expected. We enjoyed our short drive to Blueridge and Ellijay for horseback riding and shopping. There is much history to learn about in this area and Fort Mountain had one of the most breathtaking overlooks I’ve ever seen. I highly recommend this cabin, my only regret was not booking it for longer.

Great stay at a beautiful location

Love the view and all of the amenities on the property. Had great communication with the host. We especially appreciated the Wildacre Duh guide for surrounding areas and gift basket waiting upon our arrival. We can't wait to stay again!

An excellent little vacation place!

I stayed here with a couple of friends, and we had such a nice time! The location is gorgeous, and the kitchen has a great variety of equipment to cook with. Would love to stay here again!

Amazing

This is my second stay and I absolutely love it. Judy is an amazing host with a very quick response time. The Cabin is very relaxing. This was me and my sister first time ever going on vacation together and I can’t think of a better place to do that. Can’t wait to go back.

Relaxing getaway

Cabin was remote but still easy to get to other things in the area. Sitting on theScreened in back porch listening to the creek babbling was just what we needed. Crossed the creek to explore the trail-lots of fun! The welcome basket was a nice surprise! What a peaceful place—would highly recommend. Judy was quick to reply to any questions we had and there was a lot of info about things to do in the area.

Romantic Getaway

Beautiful and Peaceful Property

We stayed for 3 weeks and didn’t want to leave. There is so much to see and explore on this beautiful piece of land, and the peacefulness of evenings spent by the fire pit or in the rocking chairs listening to the creek can’t be beat. Coming from a very overpopulated county in FL, this was a world away and the utmost peace and quiet. We saw deer, otters, fish, turtles, etc and loved it. Judy was just a text away for anything we needed, and they put so many thoughtful touches into the cabin and property, including a very sweet welcome basket. We’ll be back!

Heaven on earth

Me and my family had the best stay! It was so relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed listening to the creek from the front porch, hiking up the creek, shooting our pistols, and just letting the kids explore. Definitely would recommend if you’re trying to get away for a few days.

The cabin is older and adorable. Sitting by the fire listening to the creek babble under the stars, it’s magical. Host was wonderful, we couldn’t ask for a better weekend!

Anniversary weekend

The rushing creek on the property is amazing! We loved the sound of the heavy rain on the tin roof, the wood burning fireplace, the coffee on the screened porch and so much more! Judy did a wonderful job with communicating before and after our stay. Thanks for the gift basket of wine, cheese and crackers!

Secluded peace

My husband and I love this charming cabin especially the huge screened porch perfect for rocking, swinging, and dining while listening to the babbling creek. It is located conveniently to Elijay and Blue Ridge. We wished we had booked another day just to spend at the cabin enjoying the hammock and fire pit. The heated bathroom floors was a nice surprise. The welcome basket was so thoughtful. Judy was very responsive and stay in contact with us.

Cabin Heaven by the Creek

The perfect private getaway we were looking for! That mountain stream and easy walking by the creek without having to be a mountain climber. One set of steps to the cabin too, which is absolutely perfect for us. The cabin itself is extremely clean and so comfortable. Decor is spot on and great for a family or a couple. The master tub was amazing with great tile work. But best of all was the attention to detail by our host Judy with a welcoming basket and no fuss check in-out, yet attentive to any questions. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Just what the doctor ordered😊
