Nelson Cottage - relaxed retro, modern & original

Nelson Cottage is a refurbished 70s cottage home with a relaxed vibe, a fantastic mix of retro, modern and original influences throughout.

High on the Mir Mar scarp, it has views south to historic Mt Clarence, is centrally located between the Albany CBD and Middleton Beach, and is just 300m from Bluff Rock Reserve.

There is an EV charger for use by guests, open plan light and bright living, a fully equipped kitchen, super comfy queen size beds, and desk in a separate room for a home office space.

Outside, a wide north facing patio extends the full width of the home and forms part of an enclosable rear yard. Sunny in winter and cool in summer, the patio is a great place to enjoy a wine, hang out with kids or make provisions for your pooch.

A shed in the rear yard is used by owners for storage and may be accessed on occasions by them. Agreement to our quite firm Pet Policy and payment of a Pet Fee applies.

Lovely and comfortable stay in great quiet location with bush walk close by. Large enclosed yard that is ideal for our fur baby. Host was always responsive and warm from booking process to checking out.

A peaceful and welcoming home away from home

The property was cleverly furnished and everything we needed was at our fingertips. The host was very accommodating for our needs. We look forward to returning.

Had an excellent 6 day stay with friends and our beloved labradoodle.Clear pet policy stating she could not be in house alone which is reasonable.Fabulous large secure yard and deep patio for shelter so was happy to be left during the day.I contacted Ryan from MadPaws app who looked after her a couple of evenings so we could stay out late.Great location/central to Albany highlights.We had great dog walks at Middleton and Emu Point.Plus a patch of bush and rock reserve 2 mins walk from the house which was perfect for a quick afternoon saunter.House was excellent.Nicely fitted out/reasonable beds.Wifi a bit flakey but I think an Albany issue as even Mobile data patchy.Overall a perfect spot to stay in Albany ( with or without your fur baby).

We were in Albany working and this place had everything we needed Comfortable beds, plenty of room to relax Close to City Centre Next time we stay here it will be a holiday We will definitely be back

Presents nicely, pet friendly- although can’t leave dog inside unattended- this would be good to state on website. Good sized back yard, good amenities. Couldn’t get free pay TV to work. Loved the 60’s retro vibe.

Information should b provided before booking

No information prior to stay that you may expect employee pop ins for utility items. Made us feel unease for our stay . Place was nice yard was a disappointment, owners nice
