All cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras record video and sound for 30 seconds when activated by motion

My two Boston terriers loved the place as well. It was stocked with everything we needed including a dog dish stand, coffee and tea bar and snacks. Loved it!

Lovely River House

We enjoyed 4 nights at the River House in late May. Came for a family fishing outing. The home is very comfortable and situated right on the Tuck with good proximity to local waters, restaurants and outdoor amenities. Communication with the property management company was a bit cumbersome (took a few emails and a phone call to get the home info/access code, etc.). The house would benefit from a few more snacks on hand upon entry and a k-cup coffee brewer. Otherwise, this is a really nice place!

Much nicer than photos - you won't be disappointed

The house feels like you are away from everything and yet 5 minutes away from great shopping and variety of restaurants Kitchen is exceptionally well equipped My son loved ALL the t v channels Beautiful view of South River from wraparound porch The house and the area have their charm. Not a Touristy area at all....We plan to return this summer Strongly recommended

Nice Little Place

Nice little spot to stay for WCU Homecoming. Sits back from the river a ways. Interior was sort of a retro 60’s look. Didn’t utilize the fire pit by the river. Very steep bank down to the water so fishing wouldn’t be very easy. The added-on fees seemed high compared to other places I’ve stayed. Suggest raising the daily rate and toss the $120 cleaning fee. Thanks.

Interesting

It was ok. The house foundation (floor) is not level. I saw some white hair on the floor so decided to sweep and found a lot of hair in living room and kitchen. A water bottle lid rolled under the stove, so I tried to retrieve it with a broom handle and brought out a lot of icky stuff. Not enough room at the top of the drive to conveniently turn your vehicle around to go back down the steep driveway. With all this said I would stay again. The location is good in relation to places and events you might want to go to. Oh one more thing. The TV seems to loose signal often.

Scenic Blue Ridge Getaway w/ Riverfront Deck!

Most of it was as described except for the river front deck was not in the back yard of home it was across the street from the front of the house. Would recommend for the location to get to other towns of the mountains and the price of the rental.

Relaxing Neiborhood

No trouble finding the home with directions given. Would enjoying going back and exploring the river some more. Good place to stay after Western Carolina football game.

Cozy comfortable place with nice view

Very comfortable place, close to everything around Sylva/Dillsboro/Cullowhee. Nice deck on the river.

Fishing getaway

Very convenient, right across the rd from the river. Comfortable beds, clean house, everything we needed for our father/son fishing trip.

Sweet little place.

We were primarily in the area to help with aging family members but was celebrating our 40th anniversary in the process. Hoping to have a quiet mountain cottage on the river to relax while at the cottage. As cute as it is ... quite it is not. Fairly heavy traffic and house was across the street from the fiver. Needless to say we were a little disappointed. Still in all we had a very nice time. Again, cottage is very cool and we may stay there again at some point time.

River House

Such a lovely cottage! Loved the eclectic decor! Very clean and amenities were fantastic! We were in town for Family weekend at WCU. Location was perfect!! Definitely recommend!!

My husband and I loved the property and will probably stay here again! Google maps does not get you to the house you have to look at the house number on the mailbox to find the driveway. This house is so convenient to WCU. The kitchen is well stocked and we were able to cook several meals for our daughter.

River House

It was very nice and relaxing, and the area was very quiet. We really liked the house. There is only one suggestion that I could make......the front and back door needs some curtains on them and the kitchen windows need some blinds. I don't like being in a house at night with nothing on the windows; it's just a very uncomfortable feeling. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was as described in the ad. We found it comfortable and clean. The location is great: right across the street from the ribver with a deck right on the river. I found the trout were plentiful. All in all it is a fine place to spend a few days. Look forward to visiting again.

Excellent Stay

Our stay at the River house was excellent. We stayed here as my husband had a class at the community College campus. This location was very close to everything in Sylva. The river view from the porch was awesome although the road between the house and the dock was quite noisy at times we enjoyed a lot of time kn the porch. It is well stocked with everything you need and we were very comfortable here. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Nice place

The cabin was located right across from the river and had a small deck right on the river. It was nice, clean, and pretty much just as expected. We enjoyed our stay and are considering when we may like to return.

Absolutely Lovely

We came in town to tour Western Carolina university with our teenage son and ended up having a fabulous family vacation and an absolutely lovely weekend. The house was immaculate and our host provided everything we could possibly need! We were greeted with a welcome basket of snacks which we all LOVED and we spent so much time either napping in the amazingly comfortable beds, watching movies on the big screen in the cozy living room, watching the river or the stars from the fantastic porch, or fishing from the private dock! I was disappointed at first that we had to cross a road to get to the river but it is definitely close enough to provide a lovely view- either of the river itself or of my boys fishing. If traveling with younger kids or animals you will have to keep a close watch as the front yard is a nice size to play in, but the road between it and the dock did become busy at times. The location is perfect and we were able to visit Cullowhee and Sylva in mere minutes. We also only had a short drive to see waterfalls in Bryson City and explore the Cherokee Reservation. I can not wait to come back and next time I will bring my dog! Thank you so much for the wonderful memories
