Located in Victoria's High Country, these newly renovated, fully furnished apartments in the Timbertop Building with kitchenettes overlook the Delatite River. Enjoy the Pool & Tennis Court on site. Set at the base of Mt Buller & Mt Sterling Snowfields & only minutes from epic mountain bike tracks. Only 10 minutes from the gates of Mt Buller. Conveniently located beside the iconic Hunt Club where you can enjoy great Pub meals & opposite the Merrijig Motor Inn which serves breakfast & lunch. 10 minutes from Mansfield & Goughs bay where you can enjoy water sports. On site Parking

Such a beautiful little place, very country like exactly what’s it’s advertised for. Location less the 30mins to Mount Buller, dinner at the pub you have to drop in owners and locals there so friendly and welcoming. Don’t go looking for anything fancy like wifi you’ll just have to silence your social media needs, like I said it’s a beautiful country like style, so take a deep breath, listen to the river flowing outside your bedroom window and give yourself a restful holiday. It’s clean bedsheets clean and towels clean so many hand pumps and hand sanitizer as a Registered Nurse I felt at home. My husband and I normally pay double for this type of lodging at the Snowy mountains at Mount Kosciusko so but this is incredibly cheaper. Our lodges had all the basics things one needs and if you’re without take a walk to the pub they very generous our TV remote had no batteries they gave us and they didn’t even know us some so kind and helpful. And don’t forget to take a walk around the place during the day it’s so incredibly beautiful, breath that clean fresh country air, walk towards the flowing river it’s so relaxing, “off the grid paradise”. Can’t wait to return when we both get annual leave again.

Won't be returning

We liked the fact that it was across the street from the only real restaurant in Merrijig and the view out the window was lovely. You can also catch the bus to Mt Buller across the street from the Hunt Club carpark which was very handy. Also the air-conditioning was effective, which is critical in that environment. On the cons side, the bedding was awful. The top sheet was too short. The doona needed extra blankets to provide enough warmth. When we pulled the blankets down, they were dirty, one being absolutely filthy with bodily secretions. One chair was broken, which would have resulted in an injury if you sat on it. There were no batteries in the remote so no TV for our stay. Several of the cups did not look washed - just rinsed. The housekeeping left a lot to be desired. We were disappointed. It didn't look anything like the promotional photos. But seriously, you need to fix those most glaring issues I've mentioned.

Absolutely amazing stay!! Great location and extremely easy self check in. Owner was also super quick with message replies and very lovely! Kitchen and bathroom were simple but had everything we needed for a little weekend away. However, no cooking facilities. Beautiful view of the river and mountains outside our window. Plenty of restaurants and ski hire shops nearby! We will definitely be staying again.
