The home was very well appointed. It had all of the convivences of home. It was very welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed the deer and foxes that visited every day to graze. It was something that we looked forward to every morning and evening. The only suggestions: the deck on the front needs to be redone as there are a couple of soft spots and the driveway needs to be regraded - there are some pretty big bumps. A small car would have a difficult time getting up without scraping the bottom of the car. Overall, we loved it!!!

It was good, very clean. Only problem was with driveway, not suitable for elderly as far walk ability. My suggestion would be move loft bed to bottom bedroom, bottom bedroom furniture to loft. Overall it definitely served it’s purpose

Make sure to have AWD for driveway- steep with loose rocks. Front deck is in need of repair. Lots of steps at this property. Interior was very clean and cozy. Loft style- if looking for privacy and quiet —sound carries heavily throughout. Nice accommodations- friendly hostess lives near property. Bring drinking water- water pressure on low end for bathing. If looking to do laundry- laundromat down road as well as washer and dryer on premises. Overall it was a nice clean home with a cool mountain view off back enclosed porch.

This cabin fit our family of 4 very well. It has a fully stocked kitchen and has a beautiful view if Mt Scott from the 2nd floor. Our only negative was the low water pressure in the upstairs shower and the extremely steep driveway. My husband tried 3 times to get up the driveway in our truck but he couldn't get enough traction on the loose rocks. Thankfully, our host Linda came out and told us we could park at the bottom. Medicine Park is a very cute town. We fully enjoyed the small town feel and the people.

Great views, up close and personalwith the wildlife!

We had a great stay. That driveway is something else! The cabin is very cute and cozy. It was nice and cool in the house and it smelled nice. Very welcoming. I would recommend this cabin to a young couple or young family. The stairs were a little to much for me personally. I will have to pass on this particular property in the future for personal mobility issues. If i was younger and more mobile i would love to stay here again! On our first morning we saw 3 deer come all the way up to the side porch. A pleasnt surprise was found in the downstairs bathroom was a jetted tub! Unfortunately it was not utilized on our stay. Overall i would definitely recommend this cabin!

Great weekend getaway. Really enjoyed watching the deer while drinking coffee on the porch. Great location, just a short walk to all the shops and restaurants.

Flooding

I hate to have to do this, but I have had a terrible time getting ahold of the property owners. I have reached out to VRBO support, the property management company, as well as the local property manager. Vrbo and evolve have both opened a case, we have been unable to contact the owners. The first floor began to flood. We were unable to stay at the rental. all water had to be turned off, there was an inch of water all over most of the first floor, and it just kept coming. It was storming pretty bad. Things happen, we let them know what we woke up to immediately. We left when it was no longer safe. Unfortunately it has been a nightmare getting the refund I was offered.

Peaceful Getaway

We had a great time at Medicine Park! We loved being in nature, walking to the little town and on the trail. We saw beautiful birds and even a fox! It was a fun and relaxing stay!

Lovely home away from home

This home was charming, comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay here again. The neighborhood was quiet. The beds were comfortable. We wanted for nothing! We had a minor problem that was fixed instantly. I give it an A for my barefoot rating!!

Beautiful cabin

This is a very nice place to stay. The host, Linda, was very accommodating. The listing talks about the steep hill. It should be noted that we were not able to drive up the driveway. The first incline to the property is also very steep but as long as you accelerate and don’t let off you can make it. We were not able to make it in the actual driveway and had to park at the bottom and walk everything up. Ms. Linda offered her assistance but we declined. Once inside jt is very nice and clean and we felt comfortable and at home.

Steep gravel driveways

There are two very steep gravel driveways up to the house that are difficult to get up. They need to be paved. The house is lovely and the views are beautiful however I would not recommend this place due to the driveways.

OK but...

No gas for fireplace (in winter?), outside area not really useable at all given to block type. The driveway is not easy to navigate mainly due to the loose bluestone rocks they placed on it. Of course they are trying to stop it becoming a muddy mess but without properly packing the stones down the problem wont go away. Yes they warn you but still it could be fixed. Not WIFI, we missed this and I am sure some like it but really why not? nice and clean but for us there are so many other better options to stay at in the area without the hassle that this property has and the owner seems to just want to do the bare minimum on the upkeep.

Girls Getaway

The house was great. Lots of beds, 2 baths, well stocked, comfy, but the description lacked a lot. The street getting to the place was very rough gravel, the driveway was very steep, the stairway was very steep, the side entrance was hard to walk on so if we had a problem with balance or bad knees or hips, as over 70 year olds, I don’t think we could have stayed there.
