Location
San Felipe is a small town located on the eastern coast of the Baja California Peninsula in Mexico. It is situated in the state of Baja California and lies approximately 120 miles south of the US-Mexico border. The town is situated on the Gulf of California, which is also known as the Sea of Cortez, and is surrounded by the Sierra de San Pedro Martir mountains to the east. The area is home to a variety of wildlife, including dolphins, sea lions, and desert animals. 

The location means San Felipe experiences a desert climate, with hot and dry summers with temps sometimes reaching the triple digits in July and August. Winters are mild and comfortable with temperatures averaging around 60°F in December and January. San Felipe sees an average of 320 sunny days a year, and you can always count on an afternoon thunderstorm to cool things down during the summer.

All of the bedrooms have large windows that allow for plenty of light, plenty of outlets to keep your devices charged, sleek tile floors, and easy access to one of the home’s two full bathrooms. The upstairs bedroom has sliding glass doors that lead out to a private balcony overlooking the mountains.
The two full bathrooms have tub/shower combos, mirrored vanity, and plenty of storage space. Jump in the shower before heading out to one of the many local restaurants for lunch, or end your day soaking in the tub with a glass of wine and a good book.
