Steps from the golf course, cross country and hiking trails, this charming 4000 sq ft home is ideal for larger families and groups.

The rustic cabin is nestled on the hillside between the award winning golf course and shore. Loads of privacy, parking, and nature at your doorstep.

Fire pit, gardens, prairie skies & northern lights, deer at the windows.

Full kitchen—glass/cook/tableware, additional oven & a barbecue—make every meal an occasion. 3 indoor/2 outdoor dining areas, picnic baskets, soda stream, air fryer, tea/coffee/spices/staples.

You will NOT find new construction or manicured grounds. The immense double lot is au naturel, with tons of foliage, flowers, rock walls, & vines.
We’re continually working on projects & upgrades with your safety, convenience, and comfort in mind!

Noise travels on the hillside--windows/doors closed by 11pm/resume indoor fun! 11pm-7am is outside quiet time. We love our Neighbors. Non-negotiable.

We love a family meal/BBQ as much as the next guy, but you must talk to us at the time of booking…we don’t do ragers. EVER. Again, I stay next door.

Sorting bins/bags on site for recycling We pay $5 a bag for trash disposal. Be kind. Non-flushables/wipes: Clogs traceable to location/may incur fee

Jana made every effort to make our stay comfortable and fun. The 4 kids under 8 had so much fun! It was the perfect place for our family of 12!

This place was absolutely amazing and perfect for our large family. The host made everything very easy and made everyone feel welcome. We had a large group, including a lot of kids and she was so kind and made the kids feel special with things like art supplies and games. If I could give more stars, I would. We will definitely be coming back!

Band retreat

Stayed for a weekend with our pipes and drums band. Excellent place all around, perfect for our needs. Great communication with host.

This is the best rental we have ever stayed at. The host was so helpful, kind and accommodating. She goes over and above. We had a group of 4 families and 15 people and we all slept very comfortable. She has everything from board games, record player, wifi, beautiful showers etc. accessibility is a bit harder if stairs are an issue but we made it work and new it ahead of time. She went out of her way to bring a cane and allergy for someone in need! This house has so much space that everyone has an area to visit or have quiet . If I could give this place 100 stars I would! Thank you so much for having us, see you next year!!

Manitou Beach, Lake House

Great property for our family gathering, everyone had their own room, very clean and very well ourfitted with everything we could have needed. Great communications with the host, answering any questions we had promptly. We had a fairly large family gathering for a milestone birthday, lots of room, activities and great views to go with it!

The Lake House was amazing, the beds were so comfortable, each bedroom had it's own bathroom, so convenient. The showers were redone and gorgeous. The Lake House is so well stocked, there is not one thing that you will be without. The host, Jana, was such a pleasure to deal with she was so professional, answering questions quickly and accurately. We were a large group and would all return to this beautiful Lake House.

Incredible accommodation for our weekend retreat!

My friends/coworkers and I stayed here as part of a wellness retreat. The Lake House is incredible - spotless on arrival, super spacious, and has everything you could possibly need for wonderful weekend away. Jana was communicative and flexible, and made our stay so easy. We had 14 people sleep in the Lake House, but hosted dinners for 40 people comfortably. Truly can't think of anything that was missing. I'd love to come back!

Loved this place. Old home with tons of character. Well stocked, clean, comfortable beds and lots of spaces for playing games or hanging out. We are an older crowd with some mobility issues, so we didn't get to the outdoor spaces, but they looked amazing. Our host was so thoughtful, helpful and accommodating, right from booking to our departure. She was prompt to reply to our questions. She brought us fresh flowers and a large dish of fresh donuts.

Family Getaway

Our family wanted to get away for a couple of days to honour a number of "milestone" birthdays taking place in 2024. The home was perfect - bigger than it looked in the pictures. Kitchen fully equipped. Spaces for everyone to be together and lots of spots of three or four to sit and visit too! The host is warm and accommodating. Lots of parking.
