It was a perfect getaway for the week. We found a place for a Thanksgiving meal then walked along downtown. The house is walking distance of Main St. & not far from great shops & food. The hot tub also made the stay enjoyable!

Our annual Christmas visit. We check out the holiday parade on Friday, the Luckenbach Christmas Bazaar Saturday, and squeeze in some wineries and shopping in between. The house is conveniently located and perfect for our stay. This has been our second visit, and I’m sure that we will stay again!

Wine weekend

Great location and roomy for all 6 of us! Nice backyard with hot tub. Loved that it had three bedrooms and two full baths. Very good price for location. We would definitely stay there again.

Quick Christmas Trip

We decided to come to town for a quick Christmas trip. The home was within two walking blocks of the parade and all the downtown shops. Neighborhood was quiet and had visible deer in the morning yard. We would highly recommend the home and would consider staying again.

Great place for a group gathering

This house was very clean, well appointed and has great outdoor space. We had a girls trip and do alot of cooking at the house and it had all the accoutrements needed and in great shape. I hope to return again soon.

College Reunion

The location was great! We were able to walk to Main Street and not have to worry about Uber. The neighborhood seemed safe for a bunch of women. The house had basic cooking utensils for us to make breakfast and appetizers. The rooms were clean and cozy. We used the hot tub and they had extra towels which was great. I would recommend this house to others.

Fredericksburg Get Away

Home and property aptly described. Hot tub was in good working order, clean and perfect temp, Home was comfortable. Bathrooms and bedrooms clean and comfortable. Liked the original windmill in back yard. Some paintings in the home are from either a daughter, maybe the mother of the home. I did look up some history on the family and home. More of the homes history should be in the Welcome binder. There is a tree swing in back yard which is fenced for renters with little ones. Area is very quiet at night with light traffic during the day. Neighborhood is also very walkable and two blocks from Main Street. Amenities for renters are well thought out and appreciated. Practically new Weber grill provided with coals and lighter fluid in cabinet in kitchen. We used once during our stay. Outside patio/sitting table and chairs are very nice and like the slatted walls for shade as well covered roof for sun blocking. New cushions for chairs inside the storage bin also nice to have for the metal chairs. All around the Windmill Home is a perfect rental for 3 couples or individuals looking to stay together with all the amenities wanted. W/D, AC, Internet etc.

Cute house in the perfect distance from Main Street. We loved the hot tub! The only thing we wish it would have had was a full set of cookware, other than that it was perfect.
