Asheville Summer Stay

Property is very comfortable and in a great location. Our daughter used it as her home base while playing soccer in Asheville this summer. It was a perfect location for her. Very safe with restaurants/stores within walking distance.

Very enjoyable stay in West Asheville.

We stayed at the Clair’s property for a month and thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations and surroundings. They’ve done a great job designing and decorating their NEW place. Everything we needed for an extended stay was provided. The personal touches and communication added comfort for out-of-town visitors. We walked to some great nearby restaurants and breakfast spots. It was a quick and easy drive to get into downtown AVL or any surrounding points of interest. Finally, we were pleasantly surprised when the Clair’s happen to learn it was our anniversary and gave us a gift card to a neighborhood wine shop. Very thoughtful....we highly recommended their place to stay. (BTW, The nice outside deck is a good place to enjoy some wine😊)

The location is excellent - a one block walk to a street with fun and funky restaurants, bars, and shops. It reminded of Magazine Street at home in New Orleans. It is also centrally located with quick easy access to downtown Asheville and to the interstates and Blueridge Parkway for trips to Biltmore and other sights. We had a wonderful stay.

The loft was absolutely fabulous and accurate in terms of layout, amenities, etc. We were close to shops, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Biltmore Estate! My husband and I highly recommend this rental! Thank you to the property management company (specifically, Elisabeth, who was exceptional) *I do wish there was an option to accommodate 4 adults as there is another bedroom with sitting area that could be utilized.

Beautiful, small carriage house

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit was beautifully furnished but was small. The living area had no separate chair to sit in. My husband is over 6 feet tall and sitting on the couch for him was not comfortable. The kitchen was beautiful and had everything a good cook would want. The bedroom close to the bath was also small, but adequate. Surprisingly there was another bedroom down the hall where the laundry was that you could use that was larger, but it was not close to the bathroom! There is a very nice deck, but no furniture on it so unusable, and no view. While West Asheville may be up and coming, it is not there yet. There were restaurant in walking distance that were good, but all were more cafes, and bars. It was a young crowd, The neighborhood was a mixed working variety. My husband says it was a nice place if you like living in someone else's backyard.

The property was beautifully decorated and was the perfect size for us. I was able to work from the table in the living room. We could walk to restaurants, bars, etc. We were close to parks where we could ride out bikes. We highly recommend Biscuit Head, Sunny Point Café and Nine Mile! We will definitely be back! Oh -the deck is wonderful! Be sure to bring folding chairs so you can sit up there and enjoy a glass of wine... or two!

We were centrally located and able to walk to several fine eateries and entertainment venues. Additionally, we were able to either drive to the downtown area or to various hiking trails within 15 minutes. Perfectly located and wonderful to stay in. We would highly recommend it to anyone.

Lovely Loft in a Perfect Location

We spent 5 nights in this quiet West Asheville neighborhood location, and easily walked to the many eclectic restaurants. It is also just minutes from downtown Asheville, the River Arts District, the Biltmore, and several surrounding towns that also offer interesting activities, wineries, breweries, and restaurants. Just a note: bring your own hangers and a box of kleenex.

I was almost tempted to cancel but my husband convinced me to go, saying a few days in different surroundings might help with healing! He was so right!! The place was PERFECT. We stayed five days and we felt like we were in heaven. It's goes down as one of the best decisions we've made in 30 years! We couldn't of been happier. I was most impressed with the service I received when questions came up, Elizabeth Wills, was great and very prompt on her answers. The condiments and spices and coffee provided were a nice touch. Plenty of things to do within walking distance, yet 15 minute drive to everything. Great place, has everything you need. Good managers to think of all the necessities.

Reviewer Comments: The wooden sign in the kitchen reads "Relax, Reflect, Renew" and my husband and I did just that while staying at this beautiful getaway in the heart of trendy West Asheville. Hats off to the designer and builder - such a fabulous use of space that comfortably accommodates 4 people. Super clean and quiet. Especially loved the waking up gently to beautiful birdsong each morning. It was a short 9-minute Uber ride into downtown Asheville, or a short walk to great eats and drinks right on the main drag of W. Asheville.

Mini family reunion

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our daughter and her family live 3 blocks from this location and our son and his family were in Asheville from Seattle. This was a perfect location for us. The property was lovely.... Tastefully decorated and clean. It is compact but has everything needed for a pleasant stay and it is as described. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood and the closeness to Haywood Ave with all the restaurants and shops. We visited the WNC Nature Center and the Arboretum...both perfect spots for the Grandchildren. Customer Service prior to our visit was great and we had no problems during our stay. I would highly recommend this rental and would love to rent it again.

Parking under the deck is tight (even in a small car). We were a bit confused by the reading nook/washer and dryer area, which is actually in a second BR. The way the doors locked for the unit is curious - why not at the top of the steps for overall privacy between the two spaces? Would stay again, maybe w/friends, now that we know there is a second private BR.

Cozy & comfortable

This was a perfect weekend retreat spot for an anniversary trip! Perfectly located to explore WAVL on foot or the surrounding areas by car. The furnishings were very comfortable and all the finishes are high end. Make sure you bring K-cups (or your K-filter)! We liked Biscuit Head for breakfast and The Admiral for a delicious, quirky dinner spot, both on Haywood. We would definitely rent this place again.
