Bring your family and friends (and fur babies) to stay at our place on a quiet acre in central OG!
With an air hockey & pool table, 2 fireplaces, a sandpit, fire pit, large TV's with Netflix & kayo, plenty of games and the beach a quick 5 minute drive away, you'll have no problem finding a spot to relax and enjoy being down the coast.
Consider it your home away from home!
Located a quick 2 minute drive or 1.4km walk from the Main Street where you'll find great cafes, restaurants, a supermarket and shopping.
The space
The Quirky Thack is spacious, quiet and comfy. You’ll feel a million miles away from it all and have everything at your doorstep at the same time.
There are plenty of great spots in the house to curl up with a book, enjoy a movie, or sit in the sun and enjoy the bird life ☀️
Guest access
You have access to the whole property, including the garage and front / back yard where there’s plenty of room to kick a footy and run around
Other things to note
Though the property feels incredibly remote, our lovely neighbours are close by. Please be mindful of this when making noise and keep noise to a reasonable level after 9pm.

50th Anniversary

The Quirky Thack is a great house for families, everything you can think of is supplied. Being a wet weekend Pool Table and Air Hockey very popular with the Grand Children and so many games we didn't know where to start, Blockbuster was a hit with adults and kids. Amazing hosts and accommodation

A perfect house for 3 families to get together. The hosts are absolutely amazing - we stayed over a very hot long weekend and they cooled the house beforehand, checked in on us to see if we needed extra fans and were very flexible with check in and check out. Highly recommend!

Very spacious and secluded for privacy. Everything we needed was there very family orientated. We had a lovely time and made many happy memories

Great stay!

We had three families with 7 kids and we all had a wonderful time at the property. It was spacious, clean and had plenty of entertainment for everyone. Hosts Carly and Harrison were really friendly and helpful. Highly recommended Thanks Pabashini

Great place for family gatherings!

We were a group of 8 adults, 6 kids & 3 dogs and the Quirky Thack was a fabulous spot for us to spread out and enjoy both the house and surrounding area. There were so many great spots inside & out for chatting & eating from sitting around the bonfire at dusk, around the outdoor lounge seating & all the cosy spots inside too. It was great to have a variety of toys there for the kids and the huge outdoor space was perfect for playing with our Aussie Shepherd & the kids, they all had a ball! Thank you Carly & Harrison for a great stay!! Hope to get back there soon :-)

Fantastic place for a family getaway

We stayed at the property for the King's birthday weekend, there were 10 adults & 2 kids & ample space for all with lots of games for the kids. Was a very cold weekend but the heating worked really well & the massage chair was a welcome surprise. The beds were comfortable & there was plenty of extra blankets & towels. Carly & Harrison have thought of everything & this home is perfect for a break where you don't have to worry about packing much stuff including soap, body wash, shampoo & conditioner. Would love to come back in summer & you won't need to worry about beach towels as there were plenty & I even spotted a gorgeous picnic basket. The only thing to be mindful of are the big mosquitoes that you have no control over because of the area. There's repellent at the property but they'll still get you. Communication was prompt & they were very gracious to allow for early check in even though we didn't require it. Thankyou very much Carly & Harrison for your beautiful home we hope to be back in summer & enjoy more of the outdoors.

The Quirky Thack is located in the perfect spot to feel like you are a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of our busy sea side town, while still being close enough to explore and enjoy the beach and shops by foot.

この宿泊施設の特徴

From the second you drive through the tree lined front entry, you'll feel right at home here.
The home hugs you and will instantly melt away all your life stress.
We love sitting in the backyard listening to the birds and the rustling of the trees.
Our resident magpie Morris is known to make an appearance and put on a bit of a show from time to time.
